Nini POV

I went up to my room and called Ricky.

"Hey Ricky. Can you come over to my house?"

"Yeah sure, but why? Isn't your dad home?"

"Yeah, but he wants you to come over. He wants to talk to you."

"Yeah, I'll be over in about 5 minutes."

"Thanky you."

I hung up and went back downstairs. My dad was sitting on the couch waiting for me.

"He'll be here in 5 minutes." He nodded. We sat on the couch waiting for him. He caame about 5 minutes later like he said he would. I went to open the door.

"Thank you for coming Ricky."

"Of course."

"Come in." I opened the door wider for him to come in. I led him to the living room.

"Nini, can you leave us alone for a little bit?" I nodded and went up to my room. I started writing a song, it may or may not have been written about Ricky. About a half hour later there was a knock on my door.

"Come in." It was Ricky. He came and sat next to me on my bed. He started looking at my paper but I moved it quickly.

"What is that?"

"The song I am writing."

"What's it about?"

"You'll find out when I sing it for you. How did it go with my dad?"

"I'll tell you tomorrow. I just came up here to say I'm leaving. I would stay but my mom wants me home."

"Oh, okay. Goodbye." I stood up and hugged him. "See you at school tomorrow?"

"Yup, bye." He kissed my cheek. I tried so hard not to blush. He walked out of my room and I laid on my bed. I was so tired about what happened I fell asleep right away.

Ricky POV

Her dad had a lot to say. Some of it good, some of it bad. I didn't want to tell Nini because she would get mad at him. This is what happened...

Flashback

"First off, I want to thank you Ricky. Thank you for saving my daughter from that man. It means a lot."

"Of course Mr. Roberts."

"However, I still don't want you to date my daughter."

"Mr.Roberts I-"

"Let me finish." I stopped talking. "I know guys like you. You get the girl you think is easy and you leave her. You can't talk to her at all. I forbid you to be around her."

"Mr. Roberts, I won't hurt your daughter. I really like her."

"If you can go two weeks without talking to her and not telling her why, I will think about it. Now go say goodbye to her and leave. I'll be watching you." I nodded. I say goodbye to Nini and drove to my house.

I sat on my couch and thought about what to do. I don't want to ignore but I can't stop thinking about the feelings I have for her.

I made my decision.

I have to ignore her.
