TIME is like a wave it's energizing from afar but when it nears the shore, it hits hard.

I wished for the time to stop, so that I could be in her hands forever. I wanted to harbour this precious time as much as possible .

I could feel her tears on my shoulders, she was sobbing and hugging me more tightly , as if her life is dependent on it . Even now , I did nothing but to hurt her . I felt the time has come for me to let her go.

I tried to release myself from her grip. I tried to unlock her linked hands but she held it more firmly.

“y/n. You cannot be near me . please leave ”I said through my tears. she shook her head as no.

“ If you love me , then please leave me.  I want you to be happy y/n . please go away”.

“no. I won’t” she said, with a heavy cracking voice.

“y/n don’t love me. loving me will hurt you. I will hurt you. Please I want to see you smile forever” I said with a soft, almost fragile, as if my heart would break any minute. Perhaps my heart was already broken.

“if it’s you , then I am ready to get hurt. I promised myself that I will never leave you alone . How do you expect me to leave” she replied , swallowing the lump in her throat.

As much I begged her to leave, more than that I wanted her to stay, but circumstance are different and I won’t allow my greediness to affect her .

I knew this conversation is not gonna take us anywhere , so I decided to deal with it differently. I stood up abruptly , making y/n stumble back and hit the ground. Turning on my heels , I faced her.

“just go away. I don’t want to see you. Don’t fantacise yourself with me. I will never love you back ..nor I can” I started off  with a cold piercing voice but broke down at the end of statement. Before I knew it, she was on the verge of tears, trying desperately to hide it.

She looked paranoid for a second but then she didn’t hesistate and stood up infront  looking  deeply into my existence . She cupped my cheeks  with her soft hands and caressed it with her thumb.

“ I told you I am not gonna leave you alone. I will walk down with you in your rough path. Even if you don’t want to hold hands. That’s fine , I just want to walk beside you and make sure that your steps are firm” she said with a warm smile.

Her smile made my heart flutter. Her soft touch , was driving me crazy. That was moment I realized that I am unconditionally and madly in love with this women, who have potential to make me subconsciously happy just by her presence.

I cupped her cheeks and softly stroked it. She left my face and held my arms. I looked at her eyes which were glittering due to tears. She smiled at me with love. I never realized I was waiting for her, searching the galaxies for her and a simple accident over the dark street bought us together.

I never knew that love was the thing I was craving for years until this moment and now I am finally  breathing evenly with her in my arms.

Screw the curse, I just wanted her. I leaned forward and kissed her forehead. She jerked at the sudden contact and held my arms firmly. I gave her a delicate smile and trailed down her face to kiss the top of nose in affect , she chuckled against my face . Her voice sending letters to my heart. I moved upward and kissed her eyes one at a time. The part which I fell for most.
