We were now walking down a path holding hands.
The surrounding was fully covered with trees making every thing lively. The air was also fresh to breathe , moon and stars were shining brightly, above us.

There was no street lights, it was just the moonlight which helped us to take steps. This was a perfect evening for a date but he was still in a grumpy mood. I nudged his arms to get his attention.

" you should smile atleast for the sake of our date " I said.

He kept silent. I stopped at my track and made him to turn towards me.

" Listen I know she was being impractical and I did feel bad but you must understand that she has reached her age and naturally she will only care about those whom she knows for ages and loved. I am still young enough to gulp things up but that is not the case for her. Can you imagine how broken down she would be now because of your action" I exclaimed to him with frustration . I could see , he did feel bad for her but was not regretful.

" Being old or young does not matter. We are all humans and she has more life experience than you. In such case she must know how to act. How could anyone ask such a favour and I clearly read your thoughts at that time. How do you expect me to stay calm ?" he asked through gritted teeth.

"Ok fine. Let's accept whatever you said. what happened , happened. Let's not break our heads over that. Ok" I said.

He was still unhappy. Sighing, I took a step forward.

"You know how much I dreamt of us being alone in a place so calm and beautiful like this but I am afraid , every thing will end up meaningless" I said in a low vocie with expectation.

Finally coming back to senses, he held my hand and massaged it lovingly .

" A kiss will do" he said with an innocent face making me scoff.

"Can't you be fucking serious for a minute?".

"Never not" he said with a grin .

Rolling my eyes ,I made my way ignoring whatever he said but he stood there, not daring to move his muscle unless he gets a kiss. I gave a quick peek to him and started running.

"I asked for a kiss not a lip brush " he shouted , running behind me.

" If you want one, then catch me first" I yelled back .

we were now comfortably , sitting on the sand , with sea right infront of us . The waves were moving softly , hitting the still sand with gentle touch as if trying to convey secret. They were producing amazing sounds , echoing gently against our ears. The water was clear , crystal glass with moon light casting a magnificent view.

The cool sea breeze hitting our cheeks smoothly , made our hair to wiggle. There were no humans in near contact, it was only sand stretching endlessly like our happiness . The sky above us was glistening with stars and moon. The stars were taking turns shining in the dark sky , making it a pleasant night. We were sitting next to each other enjoying the feeling of fulfillment in us.

Everything was so perfect for the first time in these few weeks. He spared me a glance and pulled me towards him. I got a whiff of his perfume which was delicate and delicious . His constant smile was filling my heart with warmth.

Smiling I said "I never knew I would end up dating a the leader of S2 ENT."

For a moment I calculated the words which unknowingly slipped out of my mouth. Then when I realized what my senseless hormones have pushed me utter those words , was the time I knew I fucked up badly. I slowly made contact with his eyes breaking the hug and gave him a nervous laugh.
