Michael had been driving to the college that his crush and his best friend attends for at least a good 45 minutes.

The whole time he was in the car and the time he finally made it to their dorm he was thinking about Cameron and if she was okay and Tyler and how he wants his lips on his.

But he knew he was here for Cameron right now and not Tyler.

Knocking on the door it opened up to reveal a girl with long hair and in a sweater and sweat pants.

Alex.

"Where's Cam?" He asked and Alex let him in and pointed towards her bunk. Somehow they had managed to get bunk beds and Cameron has the top bunk.

From afar she looks like a normal teenage girl sleeping peacefully, but once you walk up closer you could see the tear marks staining her face and the little bit of red around her eyes from crying.

She was curled up into a ball wearing Michael's sweater and covered up with a light blanket.

Michael was now more than worried.

Tyler came up to Michael and wrapped his arms around him quickly and turned towards the bunk.

"Go get up there with her. She needs you" Tyler whispered and Michael nodded climbing up the bunk latter. He snuck behind her and pulled her into his chest and she automatically cuddled up to him and started crying.

It broke his heart into millions of little sharp pieces that could puncture the skin of any living soul.

"I miss him so much Mikey but he doesn't care." The broken girl had sobbed as she continued to cry into the boys chest.

"Im sorry kitten. I wish you didn't have to go through this" he whispered in her ear.

The crying continued and Tyler and Alex had left to leave the two best friends alone. Michael was whispering little things in Cameron's ear trying to get her to calm down. Hugging her tighter into his chest she clutched onto his shirt and finally calmed down.

Running his hand up and down her back seemed to also calm her down and put her into a deep sleep. Still holding her he kissed the top of her head and whispered "don't worry kitten, things will get better. I promise"
