Izuku's POV
The thoughts swarmed my head almost suffocating me, like the goop was. I analysed this slime monster and figured out his very obvious weakness. His eyes. I noticed a pebble, aiming my foot at a certain angle, I kicked it and it hit him in the eye. He backed off and I gasped in the air. I looked up and he seemed like he was gonna attack again. I suddenly got a random boost of confidence and said in the sweetest and most innocent voice I could muster "You don't wanna attacked me do you". He immediately shook his head, I continued "You don't like being a villain do you, you regret it don't you" He looked crestfallen and guilty "You know to make it better you have to surrender and go quietly don't you, you're gonna do that aren't you, to repay all the trouble you've caused"

Third POV
The goop man nodded and froze looking at the ground as if deep in thought. At that moment a huge gust of wind blew and there was a loud booming "I AM HERE". All might looked at the scene, the villain he had been chasing, looking at the ground ashamed and a young boy standing defiantly. "WHAT HAPPENED YOUNG MAN" he said to the boy. The boy jumped as if he had just realised all might was there. He did a double take. "Holy shit, you're all might" said the boy looking shocked.

Izuku's POV
HOLY MOTHER OF FUCKING GOD THATS FUCKING ALL MIGHT was racing through my head at a hundred miles per hour. Sure the hero wasn't my favourite but he was still the number one hero of all of Japan. "YES I AM HAHAHA BUT DO YOU MIND TELLING ME WHAT HAPPENED HERE YOUNG MAN" All might boomed. "Oh um" I flushed "I'm really sorry I used my quirk because I wasn't sure what to do, I thought it was my only option, though he should be coming quietly, so there's that" I realised I was mumbling again.

"THAT'S ALL RIGHT (get it) IT WAS SELF DEFENCE AND APPREHENDING HIM SHOULD BE ALOT EASIER NOW THANK YOU" said (more like yelled, I mean seriously dude I get you're the number one and stuff but is the yelling, really that necessary?) all might. As the number one hero turned to leave I said " Wait! I need to ask you something". He turned. "YES". " Is...is it possible to be a hero, even with...a villainous quirk?"

"I SHOULD THINK SO, YOUR QUIRK WAS AN EXCELLENT HELP TODAY". I was shocked. Tears prickled at my eyes as he left. No one had ever told me that before. I was going to train, harder than before and make sure I get into general studies and transfer into the hero course. I was filled with a determination like never before.

Izuku's POV
I got home and unlocked the door. An empty beer bottle smashed into my face. I squinted at the clock. Fuck, I was late. She was pissed. Not good, not good, not good. (I'm not good at writing this stuff so time skip). I watched her collapse on the couch, and pass out. I struggled up and limped to my room. It used to be filled with all might posters and figures back when I loved the guy, but my mom removed them, saying she could sell them for money. I entered the bathroom and quietly took care of my cuts and bruises. I opened a secret draw and grabbed a razor blade. I rolled up my arm sleeves and undid the bandages on my arms. I brought the razor across my forearm.
One for being pathetic
One for being ugly
One for being stupid
One for being a waste of space

It continued until I had ten cuts across each arm. I bandaged them and cleaned the blood off the blade...It's not like anyone would even care. No one ever did. I took out the letter from it's hiding place and held it in my hands. It helped calm me down. It read:

My Dear Izuku,
I'm deeply sorry about leaving you. I want you to know that it is not your fault, I love you with all my heart. I had enough of your mother. She's always spending my money and claiming I'm lucky to have her. I cannot put up with her anymore, I'm sorry I had to leave you with her. I was thinking I could take you for Christmas, I'll pick you up after school. I hope you agree, I've filed for a divorce and with any luck I'll win custody. I hope to see you soon my son

Your father

He'd also enclosed a pendent I always wore.

It looks like this but on a necklace, he always wears it as a memory of his father.

Of course he never got to pick me up from school because of the car crash. I'm not mad at him, I just miss him. I went to my desk and picked up an empty notebook. I wrote my daily plan for the next ten months.

Izuku's POV
It was the day before the exam and I was going on my usual morning run by dagobah beach, when I stopped to catch my breath. I looked out over the beach. It's almost time I thought. I continued on my way home. I changed and ran to my part time job. " Sorry Koboyashi, overslept" I huffed. "It's fine hun and I told you to call me Akane we've known each other for years now it only makes sense" said Akane. She's super nice and has a habit of calling everyone hun or sweetie. She let me take the job a few years back, because I needed the money for food for when mom didn't have the time. She has medium orange hair usually pulled back in a bun. She wears glasses and has orange eyes. She wears a white shirt with some blue overalls, black knee high socks and black boots.

Her quirk is body temperature. She can change the temperature in any part of her body. Not so useful for being a hero but super useful for keeping your coffee warm. "Kay hun, since your here can you puh-lease make your amazing coffee". "Sure" I grinned. Apparently the coffee I make is amazing, but it varies from pure sugar to just tastes good. "Scale from 1-10" I said. It's our way of saying how sugary do you want your coffee. "10, it's been a long ass day". I chuckled to myself and went to the back to make the sugary coffee. Over these past few months I've gotten a lot more confident in speaking and my studies. I'm sure I'll be able to get into general studies and I'm gonna work my ass off to make sure I transfer into the hero course.

After my shift, I yelled to Akane that there was an extra coffee on the counter and left as she dived towards it.  I went home, today my mom was working late, so I should be fine. I got ready for bed and crawled in. I was super nervous about the exams tomorrow. I closed my eyes on my stomach doing backflips. Everything would be fine tomorrow....
Right?
