"Thank you for dinner." Asher said as Gerald stopped the car in front of her house.

"You're welcome. Did you enjoy your food?"

"I did."

"Thank you too for accompanying me," Gerald said. He went out of his car, opened her side, and assisted her. As soon as they reached her door, "Goodnight", he said kissing her cheeks. "Magpahinga ka na. It's late."

"Goodnight." Pero parang ayaw pa ni Asher magpaalam dito.

"Go inside. I'll wait til you closes the door before I go."

She went inside not saying anything more. As soon as she closed the door, bumuntung-hininga siya. Habit na nga yata ang bumuntung-hininga. At napapadalas mula nang makilala niya si Gerald.

She went to the window and peeked outside to see if he's still around. She saw him leaving, but stopped for a while, looked back and then went back to his car. He then drove as if he did not want to stay any more minute with her.

"Ganun lang? What happened to him? Kanina lang sa opisina he looked so eager to see me and wouldn't take his eyes off me maski nung kumakain. Did I say something wrong? Me nagawa ba akong mali? Where did his flirtations go? Arrgghh!!"
