Childish Love (Aang)

(Takes place when The Airbenders still existed you are a Water Bender)

"Aang! I heard you're the Avatar!" You exclaim, proud of him. He just groans, throwing himself into your arms.

"What's wrong?" You look sadly at him, falling to the ground from his weight even though he's not that heavy.

"Everyone doesn't want to play games with me now. Since I'm the Avatar." He holds you close, taking in your smell. It calms him down when ever he hugs you.

"I'll play." Pulling away, giving a sad smile. "I don't want you to get hurt with these games." He looks down at the ground. Earning a scoff from you.

"I won't get hurt!" Standing up, helping him up as well. He was a bit taller than you, he always made fun of you for it. "{Y/N}, are you sure you want to play?" He takes your hand making you blush, but you stand straighter and nod.

"Yes."

That's all he needed to drag you to an air ball game, putting you up on one of the boards before going to his own side.

"You use your water. Okay?!" He puts his thumbs up with a cute smile.

"You're going down!" You reply, he shakes his head laughing, making an air ball and sending it off.

You take the water from the air and send it back, scoring one as it flies past Aang.

"What does the winner get?!" You ask, laughing, both flinging the spheres back and forth.

"Anything they want!" He jumps up and down as he got a score making you pout.

After a while, Aang won. "Ugh! You cheated." You dramatically flop onto the ground, he laughs at you. "No, I won. Fair and Square." He teases, tickling your sides.

"You cheated." Pushing him away.

"I did not! Now I get my prize~" he sings, opening his arms. You sigh, sitting yourself up. "What do you want?" Impatient already.

"A kiss." His face turns red as you freeze in place.

"A-a what, what d-did you say?" Stuttering, not looking at your best friend as he looks down before putting a hand on your cheek.

"Can I... can I kiss you?" Aang tilts his head and you close your eyes taking a deep breath. "Yes." He takes a moment but kisses you.

It was a bit rough but cute. Since it was both your first kisses.

Once it ends you both look away from each other.

"{Y/N} I like you and I hope you feel the same way..." He proudly tells you making you smile, turning your head to face him once again.

"I feel the same way, Avatar Aang." You mess with him, he glares at you before jumping into your arms making you laugh loudly as he starts to tickle you.

"A-Aang! S-stop! STOP! Aang pl-please! It hurts! It hurts!" You cry out, not being able to contain your laughter, trying to hit him away.

"Only if you promise that we will always be together! Forever!" He continues, loving to hear your beautiful laugh. "Okay! Okay! I promise! I PROMISE!" You squeal, pulling his hands off your sides.

You sit up, tears dried up by your eyes. Your hair was a mess.

"You look beautiful." Aang tells you making you laugh. "I look like a mess, Aang." Trying to comb through your hair.

"I think you look beautiful all the time." He shrugs, causing you to get flustered.

"Shut up."

(Time skip/ when he leaves)
Your POV

"Hey, Gyatso!" I wave to the older Monk with a huge smile but it goes away when I see he was in worry.

"Do you know where Aang is, {Y/N}? He left a note saying he was leaving." My eyes widen, he left without me...

He said we were gonna go together. "No... I haven't seen him." Everything gets dizzy, losing my balance I fall to the ground.

"What's wrong, hun?" He bends down and I start tearing up.

"We were supposed to leave together! He left- he left me." Gyatso looks down at me sadly, pulling me into a hug.

But before we knew it, the fire nation had came without anyone noticing.

Attacking us all.

I didn't even get to say goodbye to my family.

100 years later.
Aang's POV

I open my eyes, tiredly. Seeing a girl in front of me. "{Y/N}?" Blinking a few times. "Huh?" She asks, not {Y/N} but for some reason I sense her.

We were flying to the northern water tribe. I found out that it's been 100 years. That means {Y/N} died... but looking at Katara... I sense her.

She reincarnated as Katara. Maybe I can fall for her all over again...
