Third Person.

Zuko and {Y/N} are total opposites, {Y/N} is exactly like her father, calm and collected. Wise for her age. Helping Zuko and basically like his best friend.

She tried helping him but it all got ruined when Azula shot Iroh with lightening suddenly. When the GAang tried to help Zuko told them to leave, accidentally hitting his cousin with the fire, right in the stomach. It only left a scar but she left with the GAang to be healed by Katara much to her disliking.

"Just because you're hurt doesn't mean I won't kick you to the curb. You better not think of doing anything." She threatens as you are being healed only for a chuckle to escape your lips.

"I'm not like my cousin, water tribe girl. As a thanks I could make you guys my fathers famous tea." You give her a weak smile only to earn a weird look back.

"No thank y~" she gets cut off by The Avatar who jumps up at the offer.

"I would love some! Thank you!"

Katara finishes your healing, it left a pretty big scar, your clothes were burnt so it showed your stomach.

"Here let me get the water." Standing up with the help of Sokka and Aang. Sokka hands over a bowl and tea cups. Katara ends up filling the bowl with the water so you didn't have to walk.

"Thanks, water tribe girl." Smiling up at her with your eyes closed but you only get a scoff in return.

That's what it was like for the next days.

Katara was rude, not trusting you one bit since you did kind of help fight them when Zuko bumped into them but that was only because it was to protect her cousin. Never actually really fighting back but it doesn't really give an excuse in a way.

You understood why she was angry that you were here. Worried that you would suddenly attack them.

You were a fire Bender, you guys didn't have the greatest reputation.

Sokka and you joke around a lot. Both loving meat and just being more laid back. Toph loved you since Katara and you didn't get along she thought you guys had something in common and you also didn't treat her like a little kid when you first met her.

Aang also loved you because of the tea and how nice you are for a firebender, thinking that violence is not the answer.

Katara just still thinks something is up. Keeping all her walls up, not letting you knock them down.

Your POV

It's still hard not having my father around here. Heard they were heading to Ba Sing Se... where my brothers mural is.
(I thank that's what it's called)

My dad most likely won't even tell Zuko that's his main reason for going there... my cousins is probably trying to learn the lightening thing.

He's not calm enough for it. He needs to control his breathing but anyways back to what I'm doing.

Trying to get Katara to trust me.

We were actually heading to Ba Sing Se ourselves. Toph has been teaching Aang Earth bending. He wants me to teach him firebending when it comes to it but I'm not his teacher.

It will be someone better, I know it.

"Tara! Want some tea?" Jogging over to her, fixing my outfit once I stop.

"No thank you. And what did I tell you about calling me that." She crosses her arms, glaring at me as per usual.

"Katara, you're gonna have to like me at some point." Sadly looking at her but she won't directly give me eye contact.

"Why? Just for you to back stab us!? Why are you so excited to go to Ba Sing Se? Your father and cousin there so you can attack us?" So many questions but it's so upsetting for her to think that of me. Maybe I could see my father but my cousin hurt me, at this moment I don't want to see him.

"Wow. Uh... I'm just... I'm gonna go. Talk to you later Katara. Let me uhm know if you want tea or anything." Giving a really weak smile, not noticing the tear rolling down my cheek.

Third Person

{Y/N} runs away, going into the forest to let out her muffled cries as Sokka, Aang, and Toph all look at Katara.

All disappointed in her.

"What!?" She throws her arms up, Toph and Aang look away but Sokka goes up to her, sitting down.

"That wasn't right, Katara. You know that. She's been helping us. More then what Toph did remember. She helped put up everything, hunts food with me and tries to help cook with you. You shouldn't treat her like that." Looking at his sister, it was weird seeing him so serious. Usually having a smile on his face she knew she messed up badly.

"Sorry... I got to caught up with knowing she was related to Zuko..." Standing up and helping Her brother up as well. He nods at her, basically trying to tell her to apologize.

"You're right, I'll be right back." Running in the same direction {Y/N} did. Finding the {H/C} girl leaning against a tree trying to calm herself down.

"{Y/N}..?" Katara calls out with more of a question since she's ever seen the girl cry like this.

"Wh-what you Came to just yell at me some more!? Katara I get I'm fire nation and related to Zuko but I'm nothing like that!" Sniffling as she tries to wipe all her tears, light hiccups stuck in her chest.

"No. I'm sorry! I truly am, I just was trying to protect my family. But I'm opening my eyes more and you're apart of this family and I need to realize you are better than that." Katara explains, stepping closer to the hiccuping girl.

"And Tara... I'm excited to go to Ba Sing Se because my brother was buried there. I'd get to see his spot again." {Y/N} smiles to herself, still super excited to go.

"Oh spirits... I'm so sorry. Let me make it up to you." She pleads earning a smirk from the girl next to her.

"Take me out to dinner. At Ba Sing Se." nudging Katara who was blushing wildly.

"Like a date?" Asking more hopeful than anything.

"Yeah. If you're cool with that." You smile causing a smile to erupt on the blue eyed brunette. "Sounds amazing, but let's get back to the group, Fire girl." It was now your turn to blush, grinning ear to ear.
