I heard the crunching of leaves under my feet as I walked through the woods with Allison. The wind was cold and the sun was only making an appearance now as it was still really early in the morning.
"Did we really have to get up this early?" Allison groaned in annoyance from behind me.
"Yes," I simply said as I walked towards my location where I wanted to go. Allison let out another groan as she kept following me through the woods, "You have school in a few hours. Meaning we at least need an hour for this if not more." I stated firmly.
"Okay, but are you going to tell me now how you became a hunter," Allison asked hopefully.
"All you need to know is that I lost someone important to me," I said as I stopped at our destination dropping the bag that was on my shoulder onto the ground. I opened up the bag and pulled out the crossbow I brought with me. Turning towards Allison and handing it to her.
"Here," I said pointing at the crossbow, "You love a bow so much so there is a crossbow it's smaller than your bow meaning you can carry it around with you all the time."
"You need to learn to use your weapons. Because if you don't know how you can end up dead do you understand?" I told her. I was very firm and straight to the point with Allison now. When it comes to training I believe that you should not fool around and always be serious about learning what you need to know. It was crucial for your survival.
She nodded as she looked at the crossbow in her hand, "What weapons do you use?" She questioned looking up to me.
"I use guns and daggers but I like my daggers more," I said smirking, "I use Japanese Kunai Daggers." It was a simple yet deadly weapon if used correctly and I was quite proud of my skills I have with the daggers.
Her eyes widened in surprise as she stared at me, "Okay so what do you want me to do?"
"I want you to shoot the crossbow at your targets," I said as I pointed at the targets I set up early this morning for her, "I told your dad that I would train you so that's what I'm going to do. First lesson - Shooting a crossbow."
"But I already know how to shoot a bow," She stated, "Remember you were the one that taught me."
"I taught you how to shoot a bow , not a crossbow," I told her, "Shooting a crossbow is like shooting a gun and you have never shot a gun in your life. So when you know how to use a crossbow it much easier than a bow."
Allison nodded at me before turning to the target.
"Take a deep breath, aim at the target breath out and then shoot," I said. Allison closed her eyes, inhaling then pointed at her target before exhaling and opening her eyes then shot at her target. I looked toward the target seeing it landed outside of the red mark but was still pretty close.
"Not bad for your first time," I said, impressed. Allison looked at me with a big smile on her face clearly happy that I said she didn't do badly. As I didn't actually want to admit it I knew she was going to be a great hunter.
For me she was still too young to be part of all of this well not just her but my brother also. And I know they didn't really have a choice in the matter. I guess I just hoped that Allison would be the part of The Argent's that didn't go in the whole hunting thing and my brother that didn't go into the world of the supernatural.
I sighed looking at Allison before speaking up, "Now, Try again."

After training Allison for about an hour and a half she finally knew how to shoot a crossbow properly now. I parked my car in the Argents driveway dropping Allison off so that she could get ready for school. I climbed out of the car closing the door behind me before following her inside as I saw Chris signing for me to come inside.
