I was standing crossed arms leaning against one of the walls in the police interrogation room as I glared at both Scott and Stiles. My mother that was standing behind them also didn't look very impressed with the situation.
And I couldn't blame her. I for one did not think they would do something this stupid. They were very irresponsible and reckless.
But obviously I was wrong. After Sheriff Stilinski and I talked to Jackson's father we finally came to an understanding of what is going to happen next.
Something I wouldn't actually agree on after finding out Jackson is the Kanima but I didn't have a choice but to agree with them. It was frustrating but it was the only thing that we could do right now.
Across from us Mr Whittmore was seated with a smug look across his face.
"You will not get within fifty feet of Jackson Whittmore," The Sheriff started, "You will not speak to him. You will not approach him. You will not harass or assault him, physically or psychologically." He dropped the clipboard he was reading off of and looked down at Scott and Stiles. Looking to them as if making sure they understood.
"What about school?" Stiles blurted out.
"You can attend class while attempting to maintain a fifty foot distance," I told him as I pushed myself away from the wall. I said with a blank look on my face.
Stiles nodded in understanding before speaking up again, "Okay, what if we both have to use the bathroom at the same time and there's only two stalls available and they're only right next to each other..." The Sheriff sent his look and said he wasn't impressed with what he just said making Stiles clear his throat, "I'll just hold it."
"I think we are done here," I said and looked at my brother narrowing my eyes at him, "Scott outside please." I told him pointing towards the door. Scott slowly stood up looking between my mother and I with an ashamed expression on his face.
He tried opening his mouth to say something but a sent him a glare making him shut it again before walking out the door.
My mother and I followed after him in silence as we walked out into the hallway of the station.
"Wait here," My mother ordered Scott as she pulled him to a stop and turned to me, "Sweetheart, first I want to thank you. If it wasn't for you your brother would have gotten way worse."
"Anytime, Mama," I said, putting my hand on her shoulder trying to give her some comfort. She nodded, giving me a small smile before we both turned with disappointment written all over our faces to face Scott. Scott looked like he was going to shit himself by how nervous he looked in this moment.
"Restraining order, really Scott" I said as my mother and I walked up to him.
"Emery is right but it's not just this. Although, a restraining order is a new low that I didn't think that you would reach quite this soon," She stated, "It's everything on top of it. The completely bizarre behaviour, the late nights coming home, having to beg Mr. Harris for you to make up that chemistry test that you missed."
"I missed a chemistry test?" Scott questioned, confused.
"Really Scott? Really?" My mother said frustrated, "You know if it wasn't for your sister who works here you would have been of too juvy by now"
"And you know I can't keep bailing you out if you do shit like this," I said.
"I know, I know," Scott said looking down to the ground.
"But, this means I have to ground you," She said more to herself, "I am grounding you. You are grounded."
If there wasn't a giant lizard running around town I would have told my mother to go for it but that was just the problem there was a giant lizard running around town killing people. And my brother was part of the people that actually wanted to stop it.
