I FURROWED MY EYEBROWS IN CONCENTRATION AS I RACED AGAINST LONDON' S CAR.

it was a little difficult, though, seeing as i had both zack and cody breathing down my neck.

the people shouted as the cars swiveled through their legs. i bent my knees and leaned forward as the cars neared the finish line.

"come on. . ." i mumbled before london's car sped past mine and right over the finish line.

i groaned and let my arms fall, the controller lightly hitting me on the thigh.

"yay race car driver me-e! i wi-in i wi-in!" london sang while doing a little dance. "and more importantly, you lo-ose! you lo-ose!" she taunted me and the boys while pointing at us.

i rolled my eyes and set the controller down on the juice bar.

"you know, i'm not a poor sport —"

"i am," i cut cody off with a scowl.

cody ignored me. "but london, you really do have a bit of an unfair advantage."

i gasped and then sputtered while turning to cody. "wh — bu — ju — huh — a bit?! she has a professional race car driver!" i pointed my hand at him and london, who high-fived.

"victory lap dale!"

"oh. . ." i groaned once more and sat down in the seat behind me.

i sulkily watched as london's car swerved past moseby before passing through tutweiller's legs.

moseby looked at us in disbelief. "my passengers should be able to be on a ship without being hit by a car!"

"don't worry, i'm insured!" london smiled.

"these people are here to enjoy a singles cruise —"

"i'm not enjoying it," i stated grumpily.

mr. moseby growled at me and i growled back.

he went back to addressing the group. "the last thing they want is to be around children. that's why they're single. . ." moseby did a circular motion with his hands.
