CHAPTER NINETEEN:
Ariel, Ariel, Let Down Your Tail!▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
AFTER MILKING OUT EVERY LAST DROP OF GUILT IN HIS BODY, KATIE EVENTUALLY FORGAVE ZACK FOR ALMOST KILLING HER AND BREAKING HALF OF HER BODY WITH THAT CAR, WHICH THEY HAULED OVER THE SIDE OF THE SHIP ONCE THE BRUISES ON HER ARM HEALED.
Now, she was back at her rightful place in the third seat at the Juice Bar, waiting for her daily smoothie.
The wait was long, as Zack and Woody got distracted and started to play some stupid game where Zack would mix up a bunch of stuff into a smoothie, and then Woody would have to guess what it was.
By the forth round, Katie got a little distracted too.
"Okay," Zack placed a cup in front of a blindfolded Woody for the seventh time, "you'll never guess this one."
Katie and Zack watched with anticipation as he slowly took a sip.
"Hmm... Mango, banana, orange... zest," Zack groaned, but Katie held up a finger, not ready to admit defeat yet. The orange zest was a simple distraction, "cinnamon, tuna fish..." Woody smacked his lips loudly, which Katie would have normally smacked him for, but she was too determined to win, "...and — Katie, did you spit in this? Twice? And sneezed?"
Katie groaned and hit the counter in defeat. "You got me."
Woody smacked his lips once more and turned to her general direction. "I think you're getting a cold."
Katie scrunched her nose, and was about to retort, but was interrupted by a feminine voice yelling for help.
Katie, Zack, and Woody headed over to where Cody was stood at the towel folding table.
"Cody, what's wrong now?" Zack asked with a sincere tone, though anyone that knew him knew it was anything but sincere.
Katie rolled her eyes and hit him in the chest to say 'Knock it off,' but then leaned over to Cody and whispered, "Everything okay?" acting extremely non-nonchalantly, as she pretended to look around aimlessly.
"I'm fine." Cody pouted. "It wasn't me, it was a girl."
"Hello!"
Woody glanced over the other three's heads. "I think it's coming from the ocean."
They all quickly ran to lean over the side of the ship, and found a young girl floating in the water.
"Hey, up there!"
"Whoa, it is a girl."
"A hot girl."
"Floating on garbage!"
Katie turned to the twins with an unimpressed look. "Glad to know your priorities are straight."
"I know, right? There's a babe in a bathing suit and he's focused on garbage," Zack said to Katie as if she was agreeing with him.
