Trisha sat and waited at the second oasis with her new friend Screech feeling guilty that her human friends and Fluffy were struggling out there in the heat. Screech nudged his left side and his left wing with his snout constantly where the burn marks were healing. Trisha watched him and wished there was something she could do to take the pain away, but there wasn't.

She climbed the highest sand dune surrounding the oasis every half hour to see if she could spot her friends. When she made the fourth climb up, she finally spotted figures far off in the distance reaching the top of a large dune. She waved her arms and was happy to see the largest one wave back. That had to be Mike. As she turned to head back down, she noticed some movement behind them. There was another person out there about a mile back following them, staying out of sight of Mike and the others. "Was it another undead creature sent by the Wraith Queen? No, they can only come out at night. Who or what could it be?" She thought getting an uneasy feeling. She wanted to warn the others but hadn't any way to, so she stayed and monitored the situation.

When she finally saw her friends reach the top of the next ridge of dunes, she kept an eye out for the trailer. Then sure enough she spotted the figure following them a short while later, still staying about a mile behind, low and out of sight. Whoever or whatever this was, it had malicious malcontent in mind. She had to do something. They would only have about a half hour once everyone arrived before the trailer could get to them. She was certain that whoever was following them hadn't seen Screech or herself. She had an idea.

Zada made certain she wasn't spotted as she stayed well back of the three dreamers and the wolf. Two boys, and a girl she figured had to be Trisha. She didn't need to get to close, she knew exactly where they were headed. All she needed to know was where Trisha and the other Dreamers were when they woke up and left the Dream World. Then she would just sit and wait for them to return and ambush them.

It was near suns set when the Dreamers ahead of her made it to the second oasis. She picked up her speed no longer needing to worry about them climbing up another dune and seeing her. They would all be waking up soon, depending on what time zone they were all in. She guessed they were all Americans.

Slowly crawling to the edge of the final ridge that looked down upon the oasis surrounded by sandstone cliffs she expected to see the three Dreamers and wolf drinking and bathing in the water, or eating berries from the bushes. But they weren't there, only the wolf was, lying on the shore. She immediately went on the defensive. Somehow they had seen her and were about to ambush her. She turned around expecting an attack. Nothing came. She slowly lowered her guard and guessed they had woken up.

Upset with herself she threw a fireball at the wolf. The wolf must have noticed her coming because he dodged the fireball and ran up the other side and out of sight. Fried wolf or scared wolf it didn't matter. Served the same purpose, the threat was gone. She took a knee at the waters edge between some black berry bushes.
