It was 10:30 pm when they finally made it to Bozeman and found the hospital. Exhausted, they made their way to the main doors. They were locked. So they went to the emergency room to get into the hospital and found out visiting hours were over. However, the nurse took pity on them and looking on the computer, telling them that Trisha was still alive after life support had been discontinued, but she was in a vegetative state with faint brain function.
"Oh, thank God!" They all said in unison. The nurse smiled at them with sad eyes, thinking death would be preferable. But she didn't know what they did. Trisha was still alive and not brain dead. They all breathed a sigh of relief and left the hospital believing Trisha was now safe in the real world. Now to rescue her in the dream world.
Mike and Nate had only a few dollars between the two of them. But luckily for them, Crystal had her own credit card. The benefits of being a rich daddy's girl. So she got them two fancy hotel rooms at the Kimpton Armory Hotel. She a King single occupancy and the boys a room with two queens.
The boys walked into their room and flopped on the beds. "Wow, this is the softest bed I've ever laid on!" Mike exclaimed, looking around the room. The two queen beds had custom mattresses, and there was a spacious work station if you were on business, Mike guessed. The bathroom had all the amenities, they had a coffee pot, microwave, and they even had a large television over the dresser. The whole room was the nicest place he had ever stayed in.
Soon, they were in bed and fast asleep. The next second they were waking up in different beds and in separate rooms. "Wow, I'll never get used to that." Mike told himself. He went to his door and found the same guard as earlier outside his room, who escorted him to the court yard. There he found a hundred Neanderthal knights in full body armor with silver swords and spears, and bows strung on their backs. Each knight had a wolf companion sitting at his side. Nate had already arrived and was in the front riding Fluffy and was wearing full armor. He looked like a short King Arthur. Mike smiled, he really went all out.
Crystal stepped up next to Mike. "Wow, nice threads Nate." She said with a grin, winking at mike who grinned back.
"Well, better act the part shouldn't we?" Mike looked down at himself and admired his shinning gold armor suit. He looked at Crystal and said, "The King Arthur movie I watched, knights wore gold suits of armor."
She smiled and turned her clothing to a white flowing gown that hugged the curvature of her body. Her arms were in white lace and she held a wooden wand that glowed white at the tip. She wore a crystal tiara crown and a large crystal necklace. "Your right. Need to act the part. How Do I Look? Like a White Witch?"
Mike realized his mouth was hanging open and quickly shut it. "Yeah..." he swallowed. "You, you look great!" Then a wolf whistle came from across the courtyard.
"Dang girl! Looking good!" Nate yelled. "Come on, I got a couple wolves for you guys. Lets go get our girl back."
The army marched out of the castle, the Neanderthals marching next to their wolves, as they were to large for their wolves to carry them, unlike the small humans. They crossed the stone bridge and through the village and began their decent down the mountain toward the perpetual fog bank covering the west valley below.
