The stranger in the green hoodie shot his hand out. "H-hi. I'm Lloyd."

He had a unsure smile, like he didn't know whether or not that was the right move.  I couldn't tell what his hair color was cause of the hood, but his eyes were a deep green color. Lloyd looked a little uncomfortable though, he didn't want to be here. And he seemed like the shy type. I grabbed his hand and shook it. "I'm Y/n." I returned the smile. I pulled off the yellow gloves and untied the apron. "What is it you want to know?"

He shoved his hands into his pocket. His emerald green eyes looking around the room "Did a old man come by last night? I'm his n-nephew."

This guy is Wu's nephew? I hardly see the relation. Wu is more sure about what he does,  while Lloyd here looked like a nervous mess. "Yeah, some guy from a karate movie was lost and he needed directions." Then I bundled the apron into a ball and tossed it into a box filled with dirty cloths.

"Okay, uh... he had a l-letter with him last night, and now he's lost it. Have you h-happened to see it?" He asked.

"Mmm," should I give the letter back? I know it's against the law to read other people's mail, but for all I know, there could be combinations that unlock the greatest weapon ever and kill everyone! Okay, that's clearly an exaggeration, but still. Wait, what if I read it, then I give it back? No one would really know. "Sorry Lloyd. I haven't seen a letter. I could look around for you though."

"Could you? Cause I've got all these other places to go to." Lloyd pulled out a piece of paper. "Zoellick's rooms for rent', 'Westwood Gardens', and something called Hudson cave. The list goes on and on."

"Wow, I definitely don't want to be you."

He rolled his eyes. He turned and said something, but I didn't really catch it.

  "What did you say?"

He looked back at me. "It was nothing. *Sigh* Guess I'd better get going. I got 10 more places to be." He turned to leave, but I grabbed his arm before he'd could.

"Wait, how an I suppose to give the letter to you if I find it?" I asked.

He blinked at me before looking down at my hand still on his arm. I quickly pull it back. "Oh, sorry."

"Uh, no, your good. Maybe we could.... email each other?"

Oh, of course it had to be email. "Nope, don't have one. Well, except for my school email."

He made confused face. "What do you mean you don't have email?"

I shuffled around a little. I'm not a fan of having to explain to people on why I have a flip phone, why I don't have a car, and so forth. Then the other person starts to pity me, then they'll want to help, then they'll just get in the way, and it would escalate from there.

"I'm..... on my own. And my boss is a bit if a cheapskate. Not to mention the rent, food, clothes, and my pet. So I had to get a really cheap phone with terrible service."

He made a face. Here we go, the pity. I was so used to people feeling sorry for me, what Lloyd said next actually surprised me.

"Lucky, I would live on my own too, but it's..... complicated for me. But the guys that pick on me might bang on my door and probably drag me out for another beating. And... I don't think a couple of beatings is worth my own space."

He gets picked on? Why? Lloyd looks like a normal person to me. And also a lttle hands- I sucker puched that thought before I could finish it. Anyway,  the boys at Ninjago High are total assholes. But I'm still going to that school next year.
