He couldn't believe it. If somebody told him he was gonna get a girl's phone number today, he would've laughed in their face. Or maybe think that they were crazy. Either way, Lloyd couldn't believe it. He actually got a girl's number. And what was up with the stuttering? He's talked to pretty girls before, and he's never stuttered once! 'Why am I still dawning over this?' He thought to himself as he crossed a street. He was in the busiest part of town. Bright neon signs glowed and reflected off of the streets as rain poured down. Cars passed him and people hurried inside so they don't get soaked. Lloyd's place was a little far, and he couldn't use his dragon or else somebody might get suspicious about why a glowing green would land on the roof of a building in the middle of the city? It was too risky, so walking it was.

And Uncle Wu would probably have his hide for it. Yeah, definitely walking. But Lloyd kinda had a thing for walking. Sure people would stare and yell at him when he was around, but it helped relaxed him. Made him do some thinking too. Like figuring out a plan if his father shows up, or what he's doing for lunch, and then there are times when he'd try to remember what his teachers said in class but ultimately failing and ending up going to some candy store and getting something gummy to eat. He stopped and thought ' Did I just call her pre-'

"Jump up kick back whip around and spin- Lloyd quickly pressed the call button so as not to draw attention.

  "Hello?" He said hesitantly.

"Lloyd, please please please tell me you found that letter!" Jay said on the phone. Other voices could be heard in the background shouting and complaining.

He looked around. "No, sorry but I couldn't find it."

"Oh thank goodness beca- wait... you didn't find it?"

"Uh, no. Why? Is something wrong?"

A lot smack was heard nearby. Just what was going on over there? "Oh noooo! Sensei is gonna blow his top off for sure now!"

"You mean he hasn't yet? What about this morning? That was pretty bad."

"Yeah well, right now is way worse. He's been making us do nothing but train, clean, patrol, and figuring out what to use for the towers. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would do anything to be in Cole's meditation class right now."

"Is it really that bad?" Lloyd asked.

"Yeah, it is. And what's so important about it anyway?"

Lloyd shrugged. "I don't know. I think it has something to do with my dad."

Some shuffling could be heard. "Jay? You there?"

It was silent for a minute until the curly haired brunette spoke again. "Still here. Sorry, I had to move into a random closet right now while everyone else is distracting Wu. And there *grunt* isn't really a lot of room in here. Stupid mop. But I think the letter holds the location of some vital clue to our powers. I mean, if bad guys get that, then they'll probably set some of trap there or something. And Wu doesn't want us to get hurt."

"Really? I guess it could be that. Did Zane find anything that could give us.... an idea about what it is?" Lloyd asked.

"I wish. But he says he's close to at least one thing that's in it. Oh, and Sensei wanted to tell us to tell you to come back to the monastery after your done with your thing." Jay said in one big breath.

"Um... yeah. I'll be there in ....." Lloyd was most definitely not going to be there. "2 hours? I still gotta head home for my daily chores or else Mom will get on my case about it."
