"Here we are! Ninjago city park!" Lloyd said with enthusiasm.

I let out a 'whoop whoop' and said, "Finally! Feels like it took months to get here."

The blonde nodded, agreeing with me. We both walk in through the entrance taking in the vegetation. You know, for a city that has over 1 million residents, they keep the park pretty clean. Me and Todd would sometimes come here when it was sunny on days like this. I remember when Todd tried to chase that little chipmunk and when I had slept in one of the trees after I had escaped that damned truck. Thank whatever God out there for that dear. "So Lloyd, what does your friend look like?"

"He wears red and his hair is a porcupine."

I look up at him. "What?" How can hair look like that? Does he use some out of this world gel? And why?

"Yeah, his hair looks like a literal porcupine. Me and my friends would poke fun at him for it. And one time, as a prank, I put this really bright dye in his shampoo, and he freaked out! I have a few photos of it if you wanna see."

I couldn't help but snort. "Geez man, I wouldn't want to be stuck with you on April Fool's day."

"Hah, yeah you really wouldn't." He said as he patted my back. Todd pulled his head back into my backpack. Probably gonna take a short nap.

There were people playing with their dogs, kids, friends and so forth. Today looked like the perfect time to head to the park. This was actually where my first performance was back in the circus. I could still smell that buttery popcorn and playing with BoBo. "Nice day today, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah," he mumbled. "Just hope nothing bad happens today."

I hummed in agreement and looked further up the trail. What the...? I squinted my eyes a bit to see better, but it was still the same thing. I rubbed my eyeballs and looked again. Nope, still the same. "Hey Lloyd, who's that guy running towards us?"

His green eyes moved further up. His face had a suspicious look on his face before letting his shoulders slump wuth an eye roll. "That would be Kai."

"Okay," I said with a nod. "Who's the guys chasing him?"

"Mmm, that." He let out a miserable sigh and bit his bottom lip. The blonde shuffled side to side before answering. "That would be the people who pick on me. Great."

I quickly looked up at him in disbelief. "Wait what?"

When Kai spotted Lloyd, he started waving and pointing at the group chasing him. Then he quickly hid behind Lloyd like as if he was a shield or something.  I asked, "What's going on-"

"Lloyd! I know what your gonna say, but this is not my fault at all." Kai said trying to defend himself.

The group that was chasing the brunette seemed to be mostly guys while wearing Ninjago High jackets. Which was honestly not half bad. There were six of them and they looked pissed off. One of them was drinking soda through a red straw. Why? I don't really know. Then a boy who I assumed to be the leader stepped out of the crowd and said, "What do we have here? A wannabe tough guy, world's most evilest man's son and...."

The leader was a little taller then Lloyd,  maybe by a few inches or so, with perfect brown hair and brown eyes. His hair wasn't as dark colored as Kai's but his eyes were. He stared at me up and down- wait... is this guy checking me out? Gross. "Hey girl, are you with these two assholes? Or are you just going by?" He demanded. He did not sound happy at all.

"Uh, I'm with them." I said scooting a lottle closer to Lloyd and the more friendly brunette.

"Okay then goo- wait, excuse me?" He couldn't believe what I was saying. The boy who had a soda spit it out onto the side walk. Smooth. Real smooth. "Your with him? The guy in an outdated green color? Seriously?"
