"I'm the son of Lord Garmadon."

"I'm the son of Garmadon."

"The son of Garmadon."

"The Sons of Garmadon."

She rolled her eyes and yawned. "Yeah, I guess the ninja are... okay."

I looked up from my book and thought she was crazy for a split second. "Okay?' You 'guess' the ninja are just... 'okay '? They.... are.... AMAZING!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Harumi used the book she was reading as a shield like as if my voice was some radioactive weapon or something. "I mean, if you could summon a dragon amd control the elements with your bare hands, you'd be amazing too. But they just.... I'm really not a fan of them, alright? You hear all about these nice stories about them, and yet nobody never hears about the aftermath." She muttered. I remember her not liking them so much.

"But what ab-"

"Can we just talk about something else?" The princess quickly said.

"Okay... do you know how the search for Malcolm is coming along?  It's been about a week. And I'm really worried." Why were we reading those books while our friend was missing?

She looked up from her book. Then she slowly closed it and put it down on the table. Harumi looked at the table for a minute or too, I think, before bawling into her hands. Her muffled cries were the only noise in the freakin' gigantic library. I rushed over to her and gave her a hug, not really caring about the 50 something year old book dropping to the floor.

"You heard something bad about it,              d-didn't  you?"  I couldn't see through that mask of hers, I don't think anybody could.

"They're not... not... involving *sniff* the police on this." She whispered only to sob her heart out yet again. You little faker. Those tears weren't human, they were crocodile tears.

" Hey Y/n?"

"Hey Y/n?"

*snap* *snap* *snap*

Those snaps from Lloyd snapped me out of my state. Oh yeah, I'm standing in front of a member of Garmadon, or maybe I heard him wrong... Hopefully.

"Y/n? Yoo hoo, anybody there?"

"Lloyd," I said in the most serious I could muster in front of a person who might be involved in my 'incident', "Did you really just say, that you... are in that uh, Sons of Garmadon gang? Are you really?" I was ready to go on a full on a sprint. Fear was inching into every single cell in my body, human and not.

But then he went from a puppy dog face to a  confused face mixed with a scowl. "What? No! Hell no! Of course not. I mean I am literally the son of Garmadon. He is married to my Mom. I'm his son."

Oh, wow. Okay, I was way off then. Is that why he is so nervous now? That would explain about why the people in the diner were jerks. And that guy did say-

"I should call the police on you and make you rot in jail just like your father!"

"Thank Goodness! There is a God." I let out a sigh of relief and relax. I nearly had a heart attack there for a sec.

"Why do you look happy about that? Shouldn't you running for the hills or screaming for your life? Throwing rocks at me? Maybe even do a little punch in the face?" And he just continued to ramble on on and on and on. "Calling for help? Yelling at me? Dialing 911?"
