In chemistry, first period Monday morning, Jenna grazed her hand over his as they both reached into the burette box, causing him to look at her with a smirk, then look away without saying a thing. The next day, she took my space at the table.
In the sixth form block on Wednesday, Jenna did her usual sitting at the opposite end of the airplane seats, and shuffling over to Matthew, until their knees touched; he didn't do a thing about it.
I decided to confront him, as I couldn't take it any more. I've never actually asked him about his sexuality, maybe he was bi-sexual after all.
On the way home from school on Thursday, I asked him "why are you and Jenna so close?".
"What do you mean?" He replied.
"You've been acting really close to her, you haven't told her to go away like you used to and you just don't seem as affectionate towards me as you were last week.."
He turned to me, looked into my eyes, stroked my cheek, and replied with "Ben, you have nothing to worry about. I'm just working out my personal statement. That's all,".
I didn't say anything, and just looked away in frustration. To my surprise I felt a strong, lustful tug at my belt and span around to Matthew looking into my eyes once more. "Do you want me to show you how I really feel?"
