jungkook sat down at what seemed to be taehyung's dining room table, which was a rectangular wooden table covered with a plain white tablecloth. he sat facing a wide window, which allowed soft sunlight to flow through its pastel blue curtains.
"you live alone?" jungkook asked, looking around.
"yep. i moved out from home after college. but technically, i'm not really living alone."
"what do you mean?" jungkook asked, eyebrows furrowed.
and as if on cue, a small black and brown fur ball padded into the living room, barking cutely. (𝒂/𝒏: 𝒐𝒎𝒈 𝒊 𝑯𝑨𝑫 𝒕𝒐 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆, 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒐. 𝑪𝒖𝑻𝒆.)
"hello, tannie babyyyy," taehyung cooed, placing jungkook's drink on the table and sitting down next to him, then patting his lap. the ball of fluff called "tannie" ruffed and bounced onto his lap, licking his owner's hands which were smoothing out his fur.
"yeontan, meet jungkookie." taehyung lifted yeontan's paw and waved it, making jungkook smile cheekily.
"hello yeontan!" jungkook reached out his hand and taehyung nodded, allowing him to pet the dog. yeontan snuggled into his touch and licked him, showing affection.
"looks like he's a fan," taehyung said, grinning, and placed yeontan on jungkook's lap, where he happily settled.
jungkook cooed, petting yeontan's fur in a soothing manner, and looked up to taehyung. "you're so lucky to have such a cute dog." he pouted.
taehyung's deep but contagious laugh emitted from his mouth. "well maybe you should come over more often and see him then."
jungkook giggled, eyes twinkling. "mayyybe."
"so, adorable tannie here is your companion?" he continued their previous conversation after having a sip of his water.
"yes, haha. he keeps me company," replied taehyung. "where are your parents living now? i know that you live with jimin and your brother."
