Havi's pov

Toph takes Katara and I into a room where we could get ready in peace. Apparently going to a party meant doing our hair, our makeup and dressing nice. It's a whole lot of work just to talk to people I don't even care to see. Katara was doing my hair while Toph sat nearby. "So, Havi," I hum for her to continue, "What exactly is going on with you know who?"

"What do you mean? I know who?" I ask them.

"You know," Katara pushes on.

"No. I don't."

Toph groans, "don't beat around the bush, Katara. We want to know what's happening between you and Sokka."

With surprise, I could feel my face immediately burning up. "Looks like someone won't need any blush," Katara teases me and I groan, "tell us. I need details."

"Okay! Fine," I put up the front that I didn't want to talk about it but in actuality, I've been really excited to tell someone, "I'm not sure if he wanted to tell people but we're dating now. Officially."

"Since when?!" They crowed.

"Since the drill. Not that long ago," I smile at the memory.

"Have you guys kissed?" Katara questions me.

"He's your brother, do you really want to know?"

"Eh, your answer tells me enough." I laugh and we finish getting ready. After a final inspection of our outfits, we walk out into the main room with Sokka and Aang.

Aang stares longingly at Katara, as obvious as ever, "wow. You look beautiful." Please just get married and have children.

I laugh and turn my head to see Sokka gulping at me. I push my hair out of my face and look down in my own little bubble, not really noticing what else was going on.

"Don't talk to the commoners, Katara. First rule of society."

We begin to walk out as I give a last minute review of the plan, "We'll sneak into the party first and then try to find a way to let you in through the side gate. Got it?" The boys nodded as Toph ushered me away.

Katara, Toph and I stood in line for the party. We had to wait person after person to get let in before we even had a chance. I swear, If all of this was for nothing, I think I'll scream.

"Invitation, please," the bouncer said.

"I think this will do," Toph holds out the Beifong seal.

"No entry without an invitation. Step out of line, please," The guard tells us.

"Look, the Pangs and the Yumsoon-Hans are waiting in there for us," Toph lies on the spot, "I'm gonna have to tell them who didn't let me in."

"Step out of line, please," This time we do as he says but I quickly spot a new way in.

"Guys, guys, over here," I start to drag them, "just act cute and innocent and follow my lead."
