I will be at Monet's in 30 minutes.

Justin: Thank you, El. You are an angel.

Sighing at her appearance, she left the house and made her way to Monet's. The journey in car was quicker than walking, although both were fairly short. She sat on the top deck, right in the very corner so she could be spotted through the window. She had arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected, so she'd gone to order a coffee.

"Just a black coffee, please." She politely spoke. As she waited for her coffee to be made, she watched Justin walk in and straight towards the counter. He hadn't noticed her until he finished ordering.

"Oh, hey El." He spoke. They waited together for their mugs, grabbing the handles and slowly walking to the spot she originally sat at. She took a small sip of the hot coffee, wincing at the bitter taste. But that was how she liked it. "I know we have a lot to talk about, but I just wanted to say I am sorry."

"Why did you threaten Monty?" She began, moving past the small talk of him apologising and professing how sorry he was. He paused, staring at the foam on the top of his coffee, watching it melt away from the heat.

"I just felt protective of you, I still feel protective of you." He commented. "I couldn't bare the thought of you and Monty, and I thought it had happened, so I told him to stay away. I didn't want you to make a bad decision with him." It made sense. Monty was a dickhead. But Justin never saw the nice side of Monty. But then again, Justin has known Monty longer, he could be playing a massive game.

"The day you broke up with me, he took me to Rosie's diner and cheered me up. I explained how hurt I was that you'd believed Jess over me. And he listened, and comforted me." Elizabeth spoke, staring into Justin's eyes for the duration of her speech. "The night of the party, I took Monty to the bathroom so he could throw up, and then I put him to bed. You know that, you brought up the water and saw what was happening. I looked after Charlie that night, I made up with Jess that night. The next morning; I looked after everyone and cleaned up. I didn't ask anything of anyone. And yet you chose to believed her instead of me."

"I know and I'm sorry, I'm such a fucking idiot. Jess just pulled me back into her toxic circle again. I know how forgiving you are, and I don't expect you to forgive me. But I'm so sorry."

She could see he was sorry. She thought back to what Clay said. If, in that moment, you feel like forgiving him, then do it. And she did. She decided to forgive him. If she could forgive Jessica for spreading a rumour about her, then she can forgive Justin for falling back into his old habit.

"I do forgive you." She spoke. He looked up in shock, at her serious face. "But please don't make me feel stupid for trusting you again."

"Of course, El." He smiled.

"I can't forgive Jessica. She's done this once, and I feel like she has a target on my head constantly." She mentioned. Justin nodded in agreement. "Is it bad I want to fuck with her a bit?"

"No." Justin smiled. "Not at all. What are you thinking?"

"I know it's very soon, but it will be even more bolder," she took a sip of her coffee. "We act as if we've gotten back together, to really rub it in her face."

"You are an evil genius, El."
