It was a new day now. Katerina was awake and going down the kitchen. Some members were already there eating their breakfast.

"Good morning people."

"So what are your jobs around here?"

"Yes Javier I do."

They all looked at her. Was it their boss? Or someone new?

"I mean finally she hasn't gone on a date in like an eternity."

"Rin can I talk to you?"

"Yes of course."

The two girls left the room and went into the living room.

"What time is your date?"

"I don't quite know, sometime in the morning."

"You know the date right?"

"Yes I do."

"Are you going to the graveyard?"

"Yes I will."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No it's okay I will ask Valerio to drop me off after our date."

"Okay you know I love you right?"

"Yes I know, I love you too."

Then Valerio entered the living room.

"Katerina are you ready to go?"

"Yeah let me just grab my purse."

She went into her room and she heard a knock on her door.

"Javier to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"He likes you, you know."

"Valerio?"

"Yeah. His men see you as a queen."

"Really now?"

"Yes and I think you are. You have gained all of our respect. Please give him a chance, because we need a queen to rule beside our king."

With that he left the room and Katerina followed. Valerio was waiting for her right at the door.

"Where are we going?"

"You have to wait and see babygirl."

They went into the car and Valerio started driving. The silence wasn't uncomfortable. They finally reached a forest.

"Is this the part where you try to kill me?"

"Not yet, come on."

They walked until they reached some waterfalls. It was truly a magnificent view.

"Wow Val it really is beautiful."

"My parents used to take me here when I was sad."

"Used to?"

"Yeah they died. Nikolai's father planted a bomb in their car but he never admitted it."

"And you tried to strike a deal with him?"

"I wanted to destroy him. If that meant striking a deal first then so be it."

"Why are you telling me all this?"

"I want us to work. So I want to trust you but you have to trust me too."

"Come on let's walk."

"So what was yesterday all about?"

"It's a story that goes way back."

"I have time."

"I was in highschool and I had just met this boy. Elijah, he was so sweet and I stupidly fell for his tricks. One day we were watching a movie when one of his friends called him. A friend I didn't know he had. So we went to meet him. His name was Nikolai. He was impressed with me and always tried to flirt with me. The weird thing is that Elijah never did a thing about it. They drove to a bar, drunk,laughed and had the time if their lives. When they got home they were really tired a bit tipsy.
