Chapter 9

The sun was shining and Katerina heard someone knocking on her door.

"Come in."

She said her voice hoarse since she had just woken up. Amara entered looking very anxious.

"Since when do you knock? Aren't you like, rude or something?"

"Shut up. Javier asked me on a date and I don't know what to wear or what to do, I am so nervous."

"And so you came to your oh so girly friend to help you."

"You are my only friend I didn't have a choice."

"When is this date?"

"I have to meet him at the front door at 6p.m."

"Amara are you fucking mental? It's 9 a.m go back to sleep."

"I can't. Also I have to start getting ready at like 12 p.m."

"This why girls tire me."

"You sounded like a middle aged father."

"I can be your daddy cause I am a motherfucker."

"Did you just quote Tyga?"

"I did. Back to our point. What will you wear?"

"Can I look at your closet?"

"Sure."

Two hours later

"What about this?"

"Mar it's been like an eternity. Just wear something simple."

"Do I look like a plain Jane to you?"

"Don't say that name."

"Sorry forgot it was the hoe's name."

"Wear my red dress."

"Which one?"

"The short one."

"Again which one your whole closet is like red and black."

"Not true , I have like two grey shirts."

"Anyway do you mean the flowy one?"

"Yes."

"It's perfect."

"Finally, can we eat breakfast now?"

"Yeah I'm starving."

They went into the kitchen where it looked like everyone was there, even Javier and Valerio.

"Good morning people."

Said Amara in a cheery voice. Katerina next to her looked like she would murder her.

"Can you like not be so happy?"

"Shut up woman."

"Call me woman one more time hoe I dare you."

Everybody was giggling with the two women. However, Valerio's eyes were trained on Katerina. She went over there and grabbed his cup of coffee.

"You made me coffee? Such hubby material."

"Are you hungry?"

Everybody awed and Valerio sent them a death glare.

"Val, I left my car at my house can you drive me to the mall?"

"I can't today but I'm sure Fiorenzo will be happy to take you."

"Can you call him now? Because I have to help Amara with something later?"
