Chapter 15

Katerina went into Amara's room and saw her crying.

"Jesus what happened , Amy?"

Katerina went over to Amara's bed and hugged her tightly while she continued crying.

"Me and Javi had a fight."

She said in between her cries.

"I'm going to murder him, I promise."

She said while holding her best friend as close as she could.

"It's not his fault."

Katerina was now worried what did her best friend do.

"What happened?"

"After dinner, I heard him talking on the phone. He was talking to some girl and I got mad I slapped him and ran."

Katerina was mad. Was he cheating on her best friend? That was her irrational side speaking. Her rational side was telling her that maybe that woman was a friend or like one of those bitches from the companies that try to sell you shit.

"Did you talk to him about it?"

Said Katerina trying to sound as sweet as she can.

"No but he didn't try to explain either."

She said still sobbing.

"Wait here sweetie I will be right back, go take a shower please."

Amara nodded and Katerina rushed out of the room. She was now pissed of, but she knew exactly where Javier would be. She went into the game room where everyone was. She saw Javier and Valerio sitting at the bar two bitches near them.

When the men saw her they all gulped, they knew what was about to go down. They could tell she was already pissed.

She got a gun out of a guy's waistband and shot the two girls. Valerio was unbothered and even mouthed her a thank you.

"Javier come here right now before I come and drag you."

She screamed but Javier didn't even move. She made her way towards them and grabbed Javier by his ear.

"Since you want to act like a child, you shall get treated like one."

She told him as she was dragging him out of the room. He didn't even say a word until they reached outside Amara's room.

"Are you done being a pussy?"

She asked him and she saw him trying to hold back tears.

"What happened Javier?"

"I was talking to a fucking jeweller. I wanted to buy her something and she freaked. "

He said almost crying.

"Why didn't you go after her then?"

She asked, she wasn't showing softness just yet.

"I figured she needed time. I can't lose her, I know it's early but it's like I love her."

Just then the door opened and an Amara appeared with a huge smile on her face.

"Really?"

She asked the man.

"You heard all that?"

He asked while blushing a bit. Amara nodded.

"Well I have to get to Val, my work here is done."

She left and made her way to Valerio's bedroom. When she opened the door he was there shirtless.

***start the song***

"What did you want to talk about?"

She asked just as she entered. There was some music playing, that she didn't expect the Don to listen to. He got up and held his hand out for her to take.

"Dance with me."

He said with a sly smile on his face.

"Right now?"

"Yes right now, woman."

She took his hand as they danced to the rhythm. He spun her around and then caught her back to his embrace. She then jumped as he caught her on the air. They kept dancing, he was spinning her around and catching her again each time.

"You are the most stunning woman I've ever seen."

She jumped on him as he spun her around. Her mind wasn't hearing to what he was saying. She felt free, she felt alive and cherished.

"Will we dance to the end of love, Val?"

She asked as he let her down looking into his eyes.

"Many times love is unconditional my little tiger, so yes we will continue dancing till we stop existing."

She twirled again around herself as Valerio was doing circles around her admiring her beauty.

Finally Valerio caught her and looked dip into her brown eyes. She usually masked her emotions pretty well but with him everything was different. Valerio reached down and cupped her face.

"You are the most beautiful and amazing human being I have ever met. The first day we met I promised to make you mine and my queen and I tend to keep my promises. Katerina Russo I want us to be together to be a team. "

She grabbed his collar and kissed him. It wasn't a lustful kiss it was one filled with emotion. Full of love and even fear, but she wanted this, she wanted him. He pulled away to catch their breath.

"Tomorrow morning you are coming to my warehouse to meet all my people."

She nodded and kissed him again as his hands were travelling down to the buttons of her pants the door burst open.

"What the fuck Enzo?"

Asked Katerina and Valerio on the same time.

"Guys I'm really sorry but someone just sent 100 bouquets of tulips for Katerina. I'm sure you both know who that is. "

Valerio quickly turned off the music while Katerina's face turned white and realization hit her. She couldn't be happy, she could never be happy, he had to ruin everything.

"Katerina are you okay?"

Valerio asked, concern visible on his voice. When she didn't speak he stroked her cheek with his thumb.

"We will figure it out together. I already told you we will end him."

Katerina realized that she needed to woman up. She needed to stop being a little bitch amd face her problems. She took a deep breath and calmed her nerves, she was ready for everything life was going to throw at her at this point.

"Okay, so let's go to the office to discuss. Val bring the card, Enzo you bring whatever card was on the flowers I will bring Javier."

Said Katerina, she sounded like a leader and Valerio was gleaming with pride about it. After a good fifteen minutes Katerina entered the office with Javier. Valerio, Fiorenzo and a guy she recognized from the tech group where there.

"I'm Mariano, m'lady, honored to meet you."

The guy said very respectfully. Katerina shook his hand and then looked at the four men.

"So shall we begin?"
