The Wedding

Chapter 1: Rebuilding

Adora POV
I cannot believe this. Horde Prime is gone, I have my best friends by side, and I have the girl of my dreams. "So what do we do now guys?" I ask not taking my eyes off of the new landscape that fills Etheria.

"You know I'm not sure." It was Bow.

"I think it's time we go visit the other kingdoms and towns and help rebuild Etheria!" Of course that is what Glimmer would say. Always work with her. Granted that's kind of her job with her being queen. "It could be like a vacation for us!"

"Ugh a vacation sounds great!" I flop back onto the nice warmth of the grass and turn to look at my new girlfriend, "especially if it's with you."

"You know you can't get rid of me that easily Princess." She leans in and kissed my cheek softly and then my lips. Her lips pressed softly against mine and my stomach was getting filled with butterflies. I could really get used to this.

"Get a room you two!" I pull away from Catra to see Glimmer throw her hands up.

"Aww but babe just look at them! They're just sooo cute!" The look on Bow's face as he says this lights up with sparkles in his eyes.

"Sorry you guys" I feel my cheeks get red like we just got caught doing something we shouldn't. "Lets start this rebuilding thing in the morning. I don't know about you all but I am exhausted and could use some sleep."

"Yeah. Now that we can actually stop and breathe my body is feeling so heavy." With that Glimmer grabs ahold of us and teleports us to our room. "Sleep right you guys. I'll see you both in the morning!"

Catra POV
It was about time they left. All I wanted since Adora and I left the heart and beat Horde Prime was to have her to myself. After all the years of fighting and being without her, it's just so surreal. I can't help but wonder if it is real. I reach my hand to my neck and feel where the chip used to be, digging my nails in my neck.

"Hey Adora, I know I've said this before but thank you. For coming back for me I mean. You never gave up on me despite all the attempts we tried to kill each other."

"Catra. I will always be there for you, I will never give up on you. I made a promise of that when we were little and I intend to keep it forever. I love you."

"I love you, too Adora." I locked eyes with her and put my hand on her cheek and pulled her in for a kiss. I always have loved you. "I'm gonna get ready for bed."

I turn around for what feels like a split second and when I turn back to face Adora I see her passed out on the bed. She's so beautiful. I've missed this. I gently take her shoes top layer of clothes off before wrapping her up in a blanket. "I want to spend forever with you." I whispered as I kissed her cheek and snuggled into her arm.
