The Wedding

Chapter 10: Interruptions

Adora POV

Glimmer decided to end the trip around Etheria early because of Catra's and my engagement. She insisted that we start planning everything right away and spare no time at all. Thankfully she let Catra and I sleep in a little today. I awoke to a sleeping Catra nuzzled into my chest purring away. She has been sleeping so much better since she was able to tell me about what was going on with her. Every now and then she still stirs, but is easily calmed down when I stroke her head. 

I turn my head over to peer at the clock and see that its well past time for our meeting in the war room. Glimmer made the meeting at 0830 instead of 0730 so that everyone could sleep in, but its 0845 and I haven't heard a peep from Glimmer. Maybe she slept in as well? Regardless of whatever the cause for her not teleporting into my room I'm thankful. Being She-ra is fun and all, but it takes its toll after awhile. 

I stroke Catra's head and hear her purring become louder. She stirs a little in her sleep and her eyes slowly open and look up at me. "Good morning sleepy head." I say and kiss her forehead. 

She yawns, "G'morning Princess." She nuzzles back into my chest, "What time is it?"

"It's almost 9," I say calmly. She doesn't seem phased by the fact that we are late to the meeting. 

"I'm surprised Sparkles hasn't barged in on us yet for being late," her eyes lock on me like shes about to pounce. "I'm in no rush to go this thing, besides they have to wait for us in order to start it. It is about our wedding after all." 

She starts slowly kissing my neck until our lips touch. My body is overwhelmed by the touch, but instinct and desire take over. I wrap my arms around her waist and help maneuver her on top.  Her legs straddle my stomach while her tongue is begging for entrance. I give it to her of course. I feel her hands slowly move up my sides, her fingers barely touching my skin leaving a trail of fire and sending shivers down my back until she finds my wrists and holds them both above my head. I let out a soft moan at the act of her slight dominance. Her lips depart from mine and we lock eyes for a moment. I start to reach for her wanting more when she slams my body back down on the bed, not hard of course, but with enough force that says I need to stay where I am. The act of dominance Catra is showing makes my body go weak and begs for more. 

"Did I say you could get up?" She whispers into my ear. 

"N-no." 

"Then why did you try?"

Her face pulls back waiting for my response. My eyes meet hers, "Because I want more. I want you." 

I see her face flash a small smirk. "You're lucky I'm feeling nice this morning." She moves her hands back down to my waist and makes her way under my shirt slowly lifting it all the while leaving small kisses on my stomach. 

Before things could go any further we were interrupted by Glimmer teleporting into the room. "AHHH!!!!! GUYS!" I quickly turn and see Glimmer shielding her eyes. My face instantly goes a bright shade of red at us getting caught. 

"Sparkles! You ruined a perfectly good moment! Hasn't anyone ever taught you to knock?!" Catra pushes off me and sits up in frustration. I pull my shirt down and sit up next to Catra. 

"Well you guys are late for YOUR wedding planning. Sorry if I'm excited and like things to be on time! Just...Just be there soon!" And at that she teleported out. 

"Well...that killed the mood." I look sheepishly at Catra. "Guess we should get going." 

"UGH!" She plops back onto the bed in anger and defeat. "I guess."
