Chapter 6: What's Wrong With Me

Catra's POV

I take in the sight and smells of Perfuma's kingdom. It's so colorful and full of life. "Wow...I can't believe I helped destroy this place. I feel awful about it."

"Greetings everyone!" Perfuma says as she grabs all of us in for a hug. 

"Hey Perfuma," We all say in unison. Next thing we know Perfuma has showered us in as many flowers as she can.  

"UGH! Get these off of me!" I am clawing through all the stems and flower buds trying to get them off. 

"Oh sorry there friend." Perfuma notices me struggling and makes the flowers disappear as soon as they had appeared. "Welcome back! As you can see after we have defeated Horde Prime we started to rebuild right away!"

We all look around in wonder at how much they have accomplished. The buildings are rebuilt completely and it even seems like there are several new buildings since the last time I was here. They don't even need us. I just want to go home and forget about everything.

Almost as if she was reading my mind Adora says, "Wow Perfuma! You guys are doing so great! We were coming by to help out, but you guys don't even need us!"

"Well, you're right in that we do not need assistance in rebuilding, but this is the perfect time to rejoice and celebrate!" As Perfuma is finishing her sentence the towns people start cheering and start to put tables together while others--seemingly out of nowhere--start putting food on the table. 

"Oh my all this smells so good!" I exclaim in excitement and jump over to the table stuffing my face. "Adora you have to come and try this! This is nothing like we had in the Horde!" The Horde had slop for food. It was colorless and tasted like crap--well except the grey kind. I don't think I will ever get used to all this new food since leaving the Horde. Some food is absolutely disgusting, but cheese has quickly become a favorite. I would eat anything if it had cheese on it. 

"Slow down there Catra or you're going have an upset stomach," it was Adora as she sat down next to me and started eating as well. 

"I don't care this stuff is so delicous!" After I filled myself to the brim I passed out into a food coma. 

Adora's POV

"Oh Catra. You're so lucky you're cute." I was carrying Catra bridal style to the room that Perfuma has set up for us and lay her gently on the bed. I pulled a blanket over her and kissed her forehead. I turn around to go back outside and notice that Melog has come in and is laying beside Catra. "Let me know if she needs anything, okay?" I say and pet Melog. The sounds of their purring signal they understand and I leave to meet up with the others. 

"That girl of yours sure can eat a lot," Perfuma seems shocked by this and looks at the almost empty table of food. 

"Okay Adora, so Bow and I agreed that since Perfuma has practically everything covered here we are good to go in the morning to head to the Frightzone." 

"I'm sorry we couldn't of been more assistance to you Perfuma, but it sure was great seeing you outside from all the Rebellion planning and fighting!" I smile at her and she nods in agreement. 

"Of course! Perhaps we can hang out again sometime with the others once things start to settle down again." 

The sun starts to set in the distance and Bow, Glimmer, and I walk along the edge of the new kingdom that Perfuma has made. "I still am in disbelief about everything that has happened." It was Glimmer, ever since her mom died she has been taking on a lot of new responsibilities and hasn't had much time to herself. 

"It is crazy to think. Have you guys thought about what you're going to be doing after we go around to the different kingdoms?" I asked them both. 

"Well, we have been thinking and it is something that we have wanted to tell you and Catra, but never had the right time." Glimmer turns to Bow to get his approval before continuing to speak. "We have decided to get married!" 

"Whoa really? That's amazing you guys!" I flash a huge smile at them. 

"Thank you! We just couldn't wait to tell you!" Glimmer flashes a ring that Bow must have created for her because it has his signature heart symbol with an arrow. 

We find a spot to sit down and continue the conversation, "Have you thought about yours and Catra's future? Like everyone knows you guys are madly in love." 

"Yeah I want us to take the next step for marriage, trust me I do! I just don't think now is the right time..." I trail off and before I can say anymore I am interrupted by Melog. They nudge me to come follow. It must be about Catra. I run as fast as I can until I'm in the room where I lay Catra down. To my disbelief she has single-handed destroyed the room. 

"Catra what happened? Are you okay?" I rush to her side and am met with a petrified Catra who tries hiding in a corner. "Catra-" I approach my girlfriend and put an arm out and am met with her pushing me away. 

"This isn't real! Go away!" She starts hissing. 

"Catra, this is real. I promise. I am right here." I'm pleading at this point. "Please, look at me." No, not pleading. Begging. 

She looks up at me and I see she is crying. I waste no time and wrap my arms around her pulling her close to my chest. Her tears start to soak my shirt. "It's okay. I'm here." I repeat petting her head. She starts to relax in my arms and holds me close. 

"Whats wrong with me Adora?" 

A/N Hello everyone! Thank you again for the massive amounts of support (at least to me its a massive amount). Before anyone can say anything no this book I am going to do a little spoiler I guess: the title is not about Glimmer and Bow's wedding, it's going to be a Catradora but I still have mad love for Glimmer and Bow and had to give them a happy ending as well.
