The Wedding

Chapter 3: Elderon

Catra POV
"Ughh when are we going to get there?!" I say annoyed.

"Relax, it's just around this bend." Glimmer says as she's leading the way.

"Oh my gosh I just cannot wait to go back! We haven't been here since we first found Adora and tried kidnapping her! Remember that you guys?" Bow is looking way too excited about this trip. "It's where the best friend squad started!"

"Pft, the best friend squad was nothing before I came. So what exactly are we going to do anyways? Just pop in and say 'hi I'm glad you're all not brainwashed anymore!'" I turn looking to Adora. I can't believe we were enemies all this time. I'm just glad to be back by her side. She catches me looking at her and flashes that smile of hers that makes my heart melt.

"Yeah that's pretty much the plan. Let them see She-ra and see if they need any supplies or help rebuilding anything before heading onto the next town and doing it all over again." Glimmer says as she starts walking around the bend. "We're here you guys."

As the rest of the group approaches the bend they see the town. There's flowers starting to blossom everywhere and notice that some houses have minor damages to the windows and roof structures. Upon continuing to walk into the town I notice that there are Horde flags everywhere and left over bots that are broken. Next thing I know there are towns people carrying supplies and tools to various locations attempting to rebuild what Prime destroyed during the invasion.

"Looks like it's time to do your thing Adora." I turn to my girlfriend and give her a gentle squeeze of her hand. I love watching her go all She-ra; it's hot.

"Seems like you're right my dear." She squeezes my hand back and then takes it away to reach out into the air waiting for her magical sword to appear. "For the honor of greyskull!"

I'll never get tired of that. Adora is beautiful and everything but there's something about it when she turns into She-ra it just gets me all excited. Nope, stop that. I can't be thinking of that right now. I see Melog looking at me and then rubs up against my leg trying to distract my thoughts.

"Guys look! It's She-ra! And Queen Glimmer!!" The towns people say as they surround our group in cheer. "She-ra I need your help with carrying these supplies up to this roof" "She-ra can you heal my garden?" "She-ra can you fix my home?"

"Everybody! She-ra and the rest of us are here to help rebuild your town. We will do what we can in the time we are here." Of course it's Bow. He always had a way with words and the people that I never was able to understand.

Adora/She-ra POV
"People of Elderon as Bow explained we are here to help. Together we can bring Elderon and all of Etheria back to greatness!" After that the crowd started cheering and jumping up and down with excitement.

"Sheesh these people sure do love you huh She-ra," it was Catra teasing me. "But, they don't love you as much as I do."

"I love you, too Catra. Now let's start helping these people."

The day seems to go by so quickly. Most of the time I was just going from one end to the other carrying all the heavy supplies while everyone else was repairing what was damaged. Next thing I know someone is yelling saying it's time to feast and celebrate. Finally, I'm starving!

"To Queen Glimmer and She-ra! Thank you for saving us all! Thank you for lifting our spirits and bringing hope back to us in the final moments of Horde Primes rule. thank you for coming back to assure we are okay. And finally thank you for helping us rebuild. A toast!" We all raise our glasses, cheer, and feast until there is no more food left.

"Hey guys one of the towns people is lending us their place to stay for the night as a thanks for helping." Bow said as he was showing us to our rooms for the night.

"Finally! Some peace and quiet." Catra was joking of course. Well half joking. I see her look at me and flash a half smile. "C'mon, lets go to bed Adora. See you two lovebirds in the morning!"

"Get some rest. Tomorrow we are leaving to go see Perfuma since we teamworked the crap out of Elderon and got it almost new in just one day." Glimmer says as she starts walking towards her and Bows room.

I follow Catra and I de-She-ra-tize and fall onto our bed. "Phew. We did a lot of work today. You really helped out Catra. Thank you. I know it wasn't what you had planned for us to be doing."

"You know I would do anything for you." She lifts her hand and lightly places it on my cheek and kisses me softly making be blush. "Easy there Adora. I swear you're too easy sometimes."

"I-I am not!" I say as I feel my face get even more red. "Okay, maybe I am. But you love me for it." Next thing I know I fall asleep while holding Catra next to me.
