Adora POV

"What the heck was that?" I ask the group. I only get blank stares and shrugs as a response.

"It's not like we did anything," Mermista plainly states.

"Whatever. I'm going to go look for her."

"Adora, wait." Glimmer started, "Let us come with you."

I shook my head. "No offense. But let me handle this."  I dash out the door. One of the guards posted outside the room pointed towards the direction they saw Catra running and I follow that way.

I get outside the castle and start calling out her name. No response. I start looking all around Brightmoon hollering for Catra. I searched the garden area, near the water, near the stables, everywhere I could think of and no sign of her. Then a thought hit me. She isn't here. Whenever she got frustrated or upset she would try to find someplace high to hide where no one would be. I look towards the Whispering Woods. She has to be somewhere in there since hardly anyone ever goes in there; it's a perfect place to hide.

I run into the thick of the woods. "Catra!" I try calling out. Still no answer. "Catra where are you?"

I feel like I'm wandering around aimlessly. It's been hours that I've been looking and it's going to be getting dark soon. Still there's no signs that Catra has been around here. I can't just stop looking, she has to be around here somewhere.

Then, out of nowhere I see Melog coming my way; as soon as we make eye contact Melog dashes away. I run after them relief flooding over my body knowing I'll get to Catra soon. Belong disappears into the distance and I stop looking around for where they might have gone when my eyes spot something--well someone--in a tree. "Catra! There you are."

I run up to the tree where she's at and start climbing it. I reach the branch she's at and sit next to her. She didn't even look up at me. "I've been looking all over for you, are you okay?" I put my hand on her shoulder and she shrugs it off. She always does this when she's frustrated. She doesn't like seeming weak in front of people--even if it's me. I take the sign and sit there with her silence. Several moments pass before she breaks the silence.

"I'm sorry for storming off like that." She states still not looking at me.

"It's okay. I just got worried. What happened to make you storm off anyways?"

"I just couldn't take it anymore."

I look at her confused, "Take what anymore?"

"The fact that neither of us could get a single word in. Or the face that whenever we did say something it was completely ignored."

"Yeah, that was getting really annoying."

"Then why didn't you say something about it?"

"Why didn't you?"

"They're your friends. They'll listen to you. They don't even like me, they just put up with me because we're together."

I feel a sting go through my body. "Is that what you really think?"

Silence.

"Catra, my friends love you and are forever for you and what you did to save everyone, especially Glimmer. Glimmer always talks about how you were the only one up there keeping her sane when she was a prisoner on that ship. She kept talking about how you saved her and how she can never repay you. She respects you so much. So does Bow and the rest of the group. Without you, none of this would be happening. Our wedding wouldn't be happening."

"Doesn't feel like ours."

"You're right. I should've said something. They're just all so excited and I know Glimmer especially wants this day to be perfect for us. I think its a way for her to feel like she's repaying you for saving her."

"I don't even want a big wedding."

"Then we won't have a big wedding."

She finally looks at me, "Really?"

"Really. We'll go back in there and tell them what we want. They'll understand."

She puts her head on my shoulder. "Can we just stay here a little longer? Maybe watch the sun set together like we used to do back as kids in the Frightzone?"

I kiss her head. "Of course."

We climb up higher into the tree until we reach a thick enough branch for both of us to sit on and watch the sun set together.

A/N  What can I say, I like the simple romantic chapters haha. I'm a sap at heart.
