Chapter 13: Redo

Adora's POV

We get back to our room and Catra decides to lay down in bed. I don't blame here. There was a lot that happened today and it was exhausting. I glance over to the bed and see an adorable sleeping Catra and Melog. I walk out the door in search for Glimmer to update her on what all just happened since I am sure she is just as confused as I was in the moment.

It didn't take long to find her; it turns out she was actually coming to our room to see if we made it back. "Hey Glimmer, can I talk to you?"

"Yes please." She says and grabs my hand teleporting us away into the garden area where a statue of her mom stands. We take our seats on a bench below her.

"So about earlier," I start.

"Yeah what was that all about?" Glimmer asked more out curiosity than anything.

"It was just a lot to handle all at once and she—we—felt like our voices weren't getting heard." I pause for a moment before continuing. "Like at all. It's our wedding and I know you want it to be special but it has to be what Catra and I want. Not what you guys think is best."

There's a long awkward silence for what feels like forever. In all honesty though it's probably only been 2 minutes. The look on Glimmer's face is of hurt. I know her and everyone else meant well. I sigh and hug Glimmer. "I'm sorry I don't mean to hurt you. It's just. Catra can be sensitive sometimes and everything in there was a little much."

We pull away and Glimmer looks better. She's even half smiling. "No you're right. This is your guys' special occasion. It should be how you two want it. I'm just so excited for you both that I couldn't help myself."

"We're excited too."

"What do you say I call the Princesses back and we can try again? Like a redo."

"That sounds perfect. I'll go get Catra and we will meet up with you all in a little bit."
