The library was now bright as the lamps lit up in a fiery orange yellow color. You both grabbed books about geography and maps.

Laid out in front of you was the map of Twisted Wonderland and some books about the places around it. But everywhere you look, you just couldn't find anything related to your home world.

“Nothing.” You sighed stretching your arms up and yawning.

“There really is nothing.” Crowley stated. “Not only the World Map, but the name of your home isn't written in any history. Are you truly from where you say? You aren't lying to me by any chance?” He asked your slumped form.

You lazily shook your head. “Why would I–” You released another yawn. “–lie about my home?” You bended and leaned to the desk, using the wood as a bed for the mean time.

“Looking at all this, you may have, somehow, been brought here from another planet...” He trailed on. “Then there's also the possibility you're from another world.”

‘Thanks for that, Captain Obvious.’ You subtly rolled your eyes, you couldn't help it, you were very tired and when you don't get sleep you get grumpy.

“I figured.” You said. “So, what am I going to do now?” You turned to him propping your elbow.

“What did you have on you when you came here?” He asked. “Do you have some sort of identification? Like a license for a magic car, name on a shoe… because you seem to appear empty handed.”

You digged around your robe's and pants pockets for something– anything that can help you get home but, alas, luck really isn't with you today.

“I don't have anything.” Your worried and tired eyes met his glowing golden ones.

“This is concerning. I can't just let someone who can't use magic into this school. However, I also can't just toss a penniless teenager out on the street with no form of communication. For I am gracious.” Your lips tighten in a straight line.

He began to rack his brain for anything useful. “Hmm... that's right!” He exclaimed. “There is an unused building on campus. It was once used as a dormitory in the past so if you can clean it up, you should at least be able to sleep there, I shall allow you to stay there, for the time being.” He seemed satisfied from what he came up with. “And with that, I will look for a way to get you back home!”

‘If I can sleep, then it's good.’ You shrugged and fought the sleepiness away.

“My graciousness is limitless! I am a model for all educators!”

‘Whatever floats your boat, buddy.’ You sighed and stretched your arms again.

“Now, let us make haste. Let's head to the dormitory. It may be a bit old but there is a certain charm to it.” He walked out of the library, with you closely behind, and began leading the way to the said old dormitory.

“Wow, very charming indeed…” You soullessly said, staring at the haunted looking, mansion like dorm.

“Right, right. Please come inside.” The headmaster ushered you inside.

It was very messy, to say the least. Dust and cobwebs on every corner, furniture thrashed, wallpapers peeling, paintings crooked.

‘How charming…’ You sarcastically cheered.

“Staying here will at least keep you out of the rain. I'm going back to do more research, make yourselves at home.” He turned around to walk out of the dorm. “Don't go wandering around the school! Goodbye!” Then the door slam shut.

“Make yourselves at home, huh?” You muttered, turning to look around the room of disrepair, and groaned. “This needs cleaning, a hundred percent.”

You were lazy and tired as you glared hatefully at the dust-filled room.

“Well, better get to work if I want to sleep then.” You grudgingly walked towards the storage room and grabbed a broom and a dustpan.

You started to clean, half-assed. But as you were almost done, placing the last painting on its rightful place, a drop of water came down landing straight on the middle of your forehead.

Then a barrage of water dropped down, the silence now replaced by the calming sound of rain.

“Hyiii! It's really coming down!”
