Ramshackle Dorm - Your Room
You twisted and turned, but the still couldn't find the perfect position so the sleep can finally envelope your form. It annoyed you. Adding the loud sleep talking of the cat on the foot of your bed was not helping you one bit.
"Did you see... my super... shoot...?" Came another muffled talk from Grim that made you sighed in annoyance.
The bed felt hot, which you didn't like, it made you sweat and uncomfortable.
You hate it.
"Ugh, I'm just gonna go outside." You muttered as you grabbed a silk scarf on a chair you doesn't really use much. You wrapped it around your shoulders as you relished the comforting warmness of the scarf.
You made your way outside to walk around, wanting to feel the nice cold breeze on your cheeks and bare arms.
Ramshackle Dorm
You stepped out a foot and immediately felt the chills of the cold air nipping at your skin.
"It's so cold out here..." You rubbed your bare arms to help your body heat up.
Walking for a little while, you accidentally stepped on a branch, it breaks completely underneath your foot, you hummed in approval as it crunches.
"Who goes there?" A sudden call made you freeze.
"What?" You uttered as the trespasser appeared in front of you.
He was tall. Very, very tall, in addition to that, he also has two large horns on top of his head. Pale skin, long, raven black hair, glowing green eyes, and pointed ears. He wore the usual Night Raven uniform with yellow green vest and a green and black armband.
"Oh my, what a surprise. You are a human child." The person stated, his voice was very deep yet gentle, his slightly shocked eyes raked your figure in a curious manner. "A female, nonetheless."
'This man could be the tallest guy I've ever seen.' You thought, watching him with wary eyes. "It appears that I am...?"
"Do you live here? This place is supposed to have been abandoned long ago." He stated, staring at the dorm. "I quite like to wander around here during my nightly walks for it is a quiet place."
"Umm, may I ask who you are?" You worded it out carefully, feeling intimidation crawled up into your veins as his eyes met yours.
His eyes was then clouded with interest. "Who, you say? You do not know of me? Really? Hmm, I see. Oh my, this is quite unusual, indeed. What name do you go by?" He asked you in return.
Still eyeing him, you reluctantly responded. "Y/n. I'm actually this dorm's Prefect." You provided him with a full answer, covering your torso tightly from the cold, the faint breeze blowing your hair lightly.
The unnamed male hummed. "Y/n? What an unusual sounding name, yet seems familiar. I am... no, I shall stop there. Not hearing my name would be better for you." That made you furrow your eyebrows.
'What does he mean by that?' You asked yourself, the unnerving feeling getting stronger as your conversation lasted.
"If you knew who I was, it would leave a chilling impression. Let us have you stay ignorant of the world's ways, shall we? Feel free to call me whatever you want..." Then his tone turned into a hushed one. "Though, it might someday make you regret that decision..."
'Okay, this is getting weird.'
Then he sighed. "Hm, even so..." His eyes then turned to scanned the scenery behind you. "Now that people are living here this ruins isn't completely abandoned anymore. How unfortunate. I must find another place on my next walk then. I shall excuse myself now."
