Keiko pulled on her clothes as she got out of the shower. She had washed them before taking a shower since they smelled horrible. The Forest Of Death didn't smell so good. She got a dark grey jacket out of once of her summoning scrolls then slipped it on, leaving the hood off. Her identity had already been seen, so why hide it now? The sleeves were a bit too long on her, so it covered up half her hand.
Actually, she didn't really care that Sasuke had seen her. She knew sooner or later it was going to happen. It wasn't like she could hide it forever, anyways. She'd eventually have to take her cloak off.
She walked out of the bathroom and peeked into Kankuro's room, where he was still working on the desk. When she entered the room he looked up from his work and gave her an awkward smile. He still felt like that conversation from earlier needed to be continued.
"Has Gaara been doing good lately?" Keiko asked, plopping down onto the couch.
She reached into her pocket and pulled out the senbon with the broken bell on it, putting her hand behind her head and crossing her feet on the arm of the couch.
"Actually," Kankuro sighed, turning back to his desk. "He's been doing terrible. His blood lust is out of the rooftops.. Me and Temari have been trying to sooth him, but it obviously hasn't been working."
Keiko rose an eyebrow, "Exactly how bad is out of the rooftops?"
"Bad enough up to the point where he nearly killed us the other day." Kankuro said, shaking his head.
"He wants to kill you everyday." Keiko muttered loud enough for only her to hear. "Do you know where he is?"
Kankuro nodded, "He should be by the lounge area, but be careful, there's sand everywhere."
She let out a small chuckle, "It's just like those days in the sand box."
He flinched, thinking back to those days when they were kids. He never really did think about them, and it was weird too.
Flashback
"Gaara! Temari! Kankuro!"
Kankuro turned around and saw his black-haired friend coming towards him and his siblings.
He grinned big, "Keiko!"
She smiled then stopped in front of them. Gaara and Temari turned around, and the blond haired girl waved. Gaara smiled a sweet smile and blushed.
"Sooo, what're doing today?" Keiko asked, putting her hands behind her back. "We can make a sandcastle again!"
"I'd like that!" Kankuro replied, and the siblings shared a nod.
Kankuro and Temari started gathering up sand in the buckets while Gaara and Keiko started to build up the sand. Keiko used her chakra to make the sand feel smooth, and Gaara shaped it. They were laughing and telling jokes like the best of friends.
Gaara then giggled turning away from the castle. His elbow brushed against the sand, causing bits of it to go up into the air.
Keiko giggled then brushed some sand away from her face, "Gaara!"
He then looked at her and blushed, "Oh! S-sorry!"
She chuckled then shook her head, "It's fine~"
End Of Flashback
Kankuro laughed at the memory, "Yeah yeah, I remember. We used to hang out so much back then, what happened?"
