*Toni's POV*
"Hey babe." A gruff voice intrudes on my dreams.
"H-huh?" I rub sleep off my eyes and felt the bed dip while strong arms wrap around me.
"Sorry I'm late." Cole whispers.
"That's becoming your life story." I mumble. Instead of replying he pulled me close to him and put his head on mine. I shift uncomfortably, we never snuggled before.
After a few moments of quietness he whispered "I'm sorry. For everything."
I frown, yeah he was late but what else is he apologizing for?
"What time is it?" I ask, dodging his words.
"10:34, is it to late to go over to Christina's?" Cole grumbles.
"Yeah. You can go home if you want." I say.
"What if I want to stay with you?"
"Then stay."
*Tris's POV*
"We've been through 4 movies and 7 bags of marshmallows.. you sure they are coming?" Uriah whines.
"I'll text her." I give in.
(Phone convo)
Tris- Hey. Are you still coming?
Toni- Shoot. Forgot to tell you, Cole ran late and I'm staying home.. Maybe another time?
Tris- Yeah sure it's fine. See you at school.
(End of convo)
"Okay. Toni and Cole aren't coming." I announce.
"Whyyyyy? I wanted to hang out with Cole." Will whined.
"Trust me you don't..." Tobias mumbles.
"Wait why?" Zeke questions.
"Wow! I gotta go pee!" Christina yelled and left.
"Um... I have to call my grandma back!" With that Tobias ran off.
That left Zeke, Will, Marlene, and Uriah looking at me in confusion.
"Fine I'll tell you," I sighed and continued. "When I went to invite Toni for tonight I ran into Cole kissing another girl. When I confronted him he tried flirting with me and hooking up with me."
"Did you tell her?!?" Zeke exclaims.
"Well... No. But we had a better idea that's why I wanted Cole and Toni to come tonight." I let out a half chuckle.
"Unbelievable. I'm going to tell her now." Uriah starts grabbing his things.
"No! Don't. It'll hurt her more." I pull him back.
"Fine. But you have one week to tell her or I will."
"Okay."
