Rory was standing right infront of the creature as it emerged. The creature rised almost to the celing with its shadowed body and big red claws. The face looked like a shadows would dark and blank but with a long nose and scary deep maroon eyes.
The thing pierced its eyes into rory soul. which made him petrified but rory's shadow said,"no fear or it will kill us"
Then the thing spoke in a voice that sounded like a lion mighty and fierce. Saying" if you've awaken me you must be the one. It must be time. The strength of unity will be shown in the darkest presence of existence. Dear child are you the bearer of will?"
Rory's shadow grew as tall as the creature with its silvery foggy eyes. it spoke in confidence with a voice as mighty as the creature itself,"we bere the will to be free. We desire your unity for the job is to much for one person to wield. To complete our mission we need your strength."
Then the shadow spoke to rory in his mind,"we need this thing. We cant do this alone. We have to trick it. Any means."
The red clawed creature spoke again,"eden shows strength, eden shows devotion, but eden teaches unity. We shall devour the light. Bringing forth what the light hides. the darkness. The shadows. To rise again as one. You child. are you the one that brings this upon us. The enlightenment?,"
Rory and his shadow spoke as one united confident front,"we are the ones who bring darkness to the light. We show no compromise. No mercy! Heed our warning! we are the bringers of darkness. The darkness that will sweep this world and every other that stands before us."
Rory spoke to his shadow in his mind,"that was good wasn't it. I almost bought it myself."
The shadowy red clawed creature stretched its arms wide bringing its head back and bellowed a loud piercing spell that shook the room as the reddish grey veins rose in the air. The thing spoke,"the time for unity has come. It is upon us. This child will bring death. The army will rise to relinquish the souls of the unforgiven. Rejoice! The time is nigh."
Rory and his shadow raised there hands in the air. Balling them into fists. While they showed there silvery foggy eyes, they spoke again " to complete this feat. We need your strength. Give it to us or we'll have to do it the old fashion way. By force.
Rory's shadow seemed confident but rory was petrified thinking,"its going to eat us or worse but whats worse than this thing killing us." But the book was about past due and the bell was about to be rung. Rory could feel that time was reaching its last minutes.
The thing spoke again as now it was looking down at rory with a vigor in its aura ," child i am here to unify. I am here to bring peace among the masses in any way possible. If you must consume my strength. Then that is the will of eden. Then bring forth the shadows put this world back together as one vision. Our vision."
The shadow turned to a red and black smoke. It swirled into the air thrusting itself into rory's mouth.
Rory levitated a couple feet in the air. His head was tilted back. as the smoke had sourrounded him. Dissapearing into him.
Then rory fell back to the ground. Rory and his shadow's eyes changed to a bright red silver. Rory's shadow seemed to puff out. It had definition to it. Like muscles.
Rory did too he grew a foot. His voice had now deepened. It looked as tho rory hit puberty but he made a transformation to something greater than himself. He felt ready to take on the world.

Rory with his newly blossomed soul in him giving him a true sence of self. A sence of being. He was still the rory who everyone had come to know. The good, goofy, weird, light hearted little boy. Who loved the world and all the wonders in it. Just now he felt power. Tons of power. Coercing through his veins.
He could feel it pumping through his blood. He felt hot. He felt unbreakable. He thought ,"this must be how a high voltage room runs full of electticuty that could explode at any moment."
Rory never felt this way before. It was like a man who won the lottery not knowing what to do with the new fortune before him. So much of it. Rory decided it was time to take care of buisness. He was ready for anything he thought anyways.
He went back the way he came and then followed the last path. The whole way down this last passage was the reddish grey veins all around it from the ceiling to the walls ending on the floor he walked on. They started to change to black greyish veins that connected to a grey door with a black handle at the end of the hall. He opened the door and went through it.
