   When lucid left Megan's grip and scurried away. She ran into the dark woods. Through the lightning. back to the world of the living. She found her way to an old cemetery in the woods. It was by a patch of dead trees. in an open field of dirt.
   There were sticks tied together in a cross with black strings holding it together. The town used it hundreds of years ago. It wasnt a well know place. Unless you were a true resident of aberdeen. As there were stories about it being haunted. Kids would use the place for drugs and making out but if you stayed there long enough it was said you'd hear voices. You'd see ghosts looking at you. Talking to you. It was an out of body experience.
Lucid seen ghosts. Foggy beings of smoke all standing at there graves. She meowed at them for help. As cats have a six sence of there own. They followed in a trance. She led them back to the other world.
They came into the town. She led them to the street where megan was hemmed up to the black cross. As rover was talking to Alfred telling him hurry up. We got a world over there! Just ready for us! Afred told him," hold yourself were almost done here.
The children were holding hands dancing in a circle around the pyre. Alfred walked up to lite it up with a grey wooden torch that had a black flame  but the ghosts attacked them possessing them. They started to attack eachother. A couple of them died with claw marks all over there bodies and faces but the grey skinned people started kicking them out of their vessels.

Daniel, elena and the twins were walking through the field of statues. As megan followed behind them hiding between the statues in the shadows.
The closer they got. The worse there heads and bodies felt. It felr like gravity was pulling them to the ground. They were hunched down with headaches. They could feel an aura of darkness but they persisted forward.
The statues were all talking to them saying turn around. If you dont leave now youll die! Redemption under the stars is a false beacon of hopefulness! This is your last chance! Only death will follow in this land! And many other ominous statements. As they turned their heads watching them with darkness in their eyes.
Aiden screamed it hurts so much! Alba repeated the statement then said why is it like this!. Then they heard a loud pleasant voice speaking to them saying you know the mission. We will help you like we promised! Fight it with all your might. The group looked forward to see the speckled statues eyes open with a whitish yellow light. The headaches started to lessen. As they could bere to walk again. It felt as through the weight of the world was lifting off there shoulders.
They were now close to the starlight statues. Then a black lightning bolt appeared between the statues and two people appeared out of it. With a pack of foggy beasts.. Whose roar was mightier than a lions. 
  They looked like full grown adults. One had silver pigtails wearing a glossy black dress with pale white skin, black veins and silver and black eyes. While the other had copper hair with black veins flaring. She had red and white swirling eyes with a black outline and fair white skin. They were annie and luci von terror.
  Annie spoke with anger and spice that wasnt nice saying," hand us the fucking necklace and we'll let you leave! This is our home and you have no right to be here. So give it up. Then luci added smartly," ya! Do as she says! Or else." She held her hand infront of her and turned it into a sharp claw. Then she balled it into a fist.
As she did this megan jumped out from behind a statue like the coward she was screaming loud and proud," your times up. No matter what they say! You're not leaving here alive! I will kill all of you, take your souls then eat you. So fight if you want. I like it better if you struggle.
Annie flared her dark veins all the way to her mouth. As she looked mad. She yelled," shut up bitch! Shut the fuck up. I didnt ask for your opinion. We got this. Your nothing. How about you contribute instead of pissing in a corner. Like we didnt see you hiding. You should of taken care of them. When they first got here.  Like we asked of you. It's hard to find good help these days! Luce! You know what to do.
Luci stared at evil megan. Then she concentrated really hard. Her eyes flickered silver. Megan started to choke and cough. Then She spit up black blood. it came out like a fountain. Evil megan fell over dead to the world in a puddle of her blood.
Annie spoke again," now that she's taken care of. we can get back to buisness. This is your only chance to leave here intact. give it up or die. Choose wisely. I wont wait forever.
Daniel quickly grabbed his gun and shot it at luci. She stopped it in mid air and crushed it. Then she laughed saying," your parlor tricks wont work on us. We're not your run of the mill evil. Think of us like gods. We're that good! Right Annie? Annie knodded in agreement. The beasts howled a roar so vicious it echoed throughout the field sending shockwaves all around.
The statues spoke to the twins in their minds, don't give up! They cant hurt you. Pull out the necklace. Let us feel its light. Alba did she pulled it from the pocket of her dress. It lit up in a white mist as yellow lights sparked in the air. It started to consume the air around them with the mist.
Then annie spoke with a strong dark echoing voice," now hand it over munchkin! We dont have time for games. Throw it.
The statues eyes shot a beam of yellow from it. It struck annie and luci. Then it spoke to the twins," use your power! Now! Concentrate it on the necklace! We'll take of the rest."
They both concentrated on the necklace. It flew up in the air. Annie and Luci tried to get it but were stuck to the ground by the light of the statues. The necklace made its way into the floating ball of light. It turned the mist and speckling lights to full blast illuminating everything around it with its presence. Then it exploded. the ball of light started to implode.it rumbled the ground was getting ready for the final blast. Luci lunged ontop of alba. She started to dig hers claws into alba's body. Alba screamed in pain. Daniel pulled his machete out. He went to swing it but annie put her hand through his gut. It went out his back. Blood spewed out of it . She pulled her bloody hand out and started laughing. The twins screamed. It sent a shockwave that blew luci off of alba. She landed by elena.
Daniel then with his last breath swung the machete decapitated annies head from her body. She fell straight to the ground. Luci screamed. She was in shock. Elena used her mind to pull the machete in the air and into her hands. She stabbed it into Luci's body. The twins were pissed. They screamed in there minds feeling that blink. It spread shooting from their minds and into Luci's. Her head popped like a balloon. Spraying blood everywhere.
Then the light imploded. The speckled statues spoke to the twins saying run now. You need to get to the portal to go home or it will disappear forever. Your moms in the evil town about to be sacrified. Get her. Your home is compromised too hurry go.
The children and Elena started to run but Elena told alba to grab Daniel's gun. They felt a shockwave from the implosion. As white and black lights shot everywhere with a boom that rippled through the ground. They kept running. Alba looked over to see the black veined man shooting light out of his mouth like a dragon on the towering black mass of a tree. The tree made a sound so petrifying you couldnt describe it. It started to wither like a dying plant that hadnt been watered in years. It started to sink and wallow away. Then it blew apart like leaves in the fall being blown by the wind. Black pieces went everywhere.
The kids kept running.

The children and elena ran back through the field were the fighting was going on and straight through the woods. They came to the lake. They ran around it. Then they came back to the town.
They stayed behind the houses passing each of them. As they looked for their mother. they seen her as they were behind a one story grey house with a black roof.
Afred had just lit the pyre up in a black flame with a grey inside light. Elena looked at the children saying i have a plan. Alba your gonna need to have that gun at the ready. Im a get your mom down from there. Then when i show the sign. You run! And don't look back!
Alba shook her head in agreement. Elena glided through to the crowd. She hovered in the air infront of the burning pyre with the children still dancing and singing. Saying," you'll feel no pain! On the merry go round! Heed its warning that once it starts it'll never stop. This is the world were no one escapes! So ride our carousel! Round and round it goes. Never stopping always starting! So watch it go". Afred and rover were behind them with a mob.
Elena passed through them all and swirled herself into megan. Her eyes lit up yellow. She used her mind to break the rope tieing her to the cross. She leviated off of it and onto the ground. Then she opened her mouth and let out a black smoke. It put everything in a black cloudy fog.
  Elena started to run. The children followed suite. They caught up to elena as she slowed down. Afred and rover made it out of the fog. They started to run after them.
Elena and the twins made it through the town and into the woods.  They seen the foggy beasts. The twins held them back with there minds. They were coming up to the lightning when alba tripped and the gun fell out of her hands. She screamed. Elena turned around and went back for her. She grabbed the gun. She picked up alba telling her to run. Afred and rover were catching up. Elena unloaded the gun but only two shots came out. They both hit rover. One in the chest the other in the neck. He fell over dead. Afred stumbed out the way but continued to charge.
Elena and the kids kept running. She watched the lightning getting closer into view but it was getting smaller with each step. Afred was on there coat tails. He reached out but missed his intended target of elena in Megan's body. The kids and elena touched the bolt. As it started to dissapear. They came out to the world of the living tripping and stumbling to the ground. They turned around to see it dissapear. The underworld was cut off from the human world for good. Elena swirled out of Megan's mouth. She stood tall in her black smokey essence with her yellow eyes glowing. Megan stared at her stunned. Not believing her eyes as she wiped at them. The twins looked at her smiling as they said thank you Elena without you we'd be dead." They concentrated on her feeling that blink in there minds. It expanded and shot out. Elena's black smokey body dissipated. As her yellow eyes left her. She started to look like her former beautiful self. Her ghost essence was back. She smiled saying thank you. They smiled back.
They strolled to their home. Megan opened the front door of the house and walked in. As she did she felt a jab in her heart. She was stabbed. The twins looked over to see there neighbor standing there. He was screaming," you all are gonna get what you deserve. Those kids are the devils work. Their next. The twins screamed. It got louder and louder. The man dropped to the ground. He heard voices in his mind that were making him go crazy! He screamed stop stop! The kids concentrated harder and his eyes and mouth started to bleed out. He fell over dead.
The kids shook there mom's dead body screaming in pain. They looked at Elena begging and pleading her to do something. She held them with her ghost arms. She said im sorry she's gone babies. Go to your rooms for a moment ill take care of her body. You dont need to see this!"
They did. Elena seen Megan's ghost. Elena's eyes flickered yellow as she consumed her essence. Then she jumped into Megan's body healing it. She ran to the kids saying," mommies back!
