seungcheol had spent a good couple hours binge watching pokemon with the duo until he decided to go home and try unpacking some of the boxes in his home. after being in such a beautiful home, he looked at his own cramped one and thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to actually open some boxes.
the shelves in his kitchen were finally filled up after pots, plates, and cups decorated the once empty space. even his room was nicer after he put everything in its correct space. the black haired male realized how pretty his apartment started looking, and he didn't feel as envious of the roommates.
flopping back onto his bed, seungcheol smiled to himself at the progess he was making. with friends, his home, his job, everything seemed to be going right for once and he hoped it would stay just like that.
eventually, the rest of the week flew by as seungcheol got even closer to the duo and mingyu. his camera had finally returned to him just in time for the spring shoot that would be happening that afternoon. the photographer struggled to pick an outfit, but later just chose one of his normal large hoodies and some jeans.
grabbing his camera and keys, he zoomed out his door and knocked repeatedly on the roommates' door until they answered. this time, the blonde answered, already dressed and ready while behind him joshua was dragging himself around the house.
"he forgot about the shoot, and watched until the second season. i think his more concerned about the show" jeonghan spoke, letting out a giggle that made the photographer's heart race. who knew someone's laugh could sound so beautiful.
seungcheol peered through the space to hear the brown haired male ranting about the sudden ultra beasts that appeared in the show. his arms flailing while he tried to pour his cereal. both boys couldn't help, but laugh at the sudden funny situation as joshua tried to pick up the small pieces of cereal he dropped.
the blonde led the boy inside, and let him sit on the couch with him while they waited for joshua to finally come to his senses and get ready. "josh, you do realize that we have to be at the shoot in about two hours" jeonghan started, "cheollie's already here and doesn't want to see you have random breakdowns over pokemon like last night"
the other male whipped his head around to stare at the male with fluffy black curls and huge doe eyes. mesmerized, all he could do was laugh awkwardly and inch himself closer to his room. he disappeared behind the door with a click, leaving the anglic and innocent like boys to break into laughter.
behind that door was joshua with a dumb founded grin plastered on his face, a hand on his chest as he felt the fast pace his heart was beating. the familiar feeling that had always sparked when he was with his roommate appeared again, only for both the time around.
a boy that he had only met almost one week ago made the brown haired male frail by the littlest things. already aware of his love, definitely not a crush, for jeonghan, could his heart handle another male? one that has the sweetest look, a gentle and calming personality, plus extremely talented. he felt head over heels in love.
as he got ready for the shoot, joshua began to distract his mind with other ideas. though the two outside seemed to cloud his mind a lot more, the lingering imagery of their calming smiles always there. he couldn't stop thinking about them.
instead of attempting to avoid the feeling, the most he could do was embrace it. if anything, maybe at some point they might feel the same way. he'd just have to have a small talk with his roommate when they get back.
joshua walked out of his room and noticed the voice of a character he was well acquainted to by now. whipping his head towards the t.v, he let out a gasp at what they were watching.
"you're both watching pokemon without me" he said emotionally, viewing the scene of ash ketchum and his bros attempting to push an ultra beast back into the ultra worm hole. of course, they weren't having much luck, but the two males on the couch were intensely watching the scene play out.
seungcheol was the first to look up, more interested in the presence of the brown haired male with a sharp yet soft outfit on. the mixture of a light brown and gray in his outfit fit him perfectly, the male couldn't stop staring for a couple of seconds.
once he snapped out of it, the photographer and joshua locked eyes and smiled at each other fondly. "we just watched one episode, we can go now that you're ready" he told the fashionable one.
joshua nodded and went over to the front door, letting the black haired male shake the angelic blonde back to reality. when the voices of the characters finally came to a stop, he saw the two boys come into the hallway that led to the front door.
the blonde held up his keys and shook them in front of his roommate, "i'll be driving us, josh" he said with a grin.
among the three, skinship was a lot more common, especially when all enjoyed little things like cuddling while watching pokemon, small hugs here and there, and of course when seungcheol pulled his sleeves down a bit to reveal his hands and hold his neighbors' hands.
seungcheol excitedly went slightly more foward than the duo when he walked, both joshua and jeonghan on either side of the photographer as they went down the elevator and out the door to the parking lot. right up front was jeonghan's white, five seater car, opening as the blond pressed a button attached to the left of the car key.
the black haired male took a seat in the back willing, sprawling across the seats before placing himself on the right side.
"put on your seatbelts loves, we have a photoshoot to get to!" jeonghan spoke, enthusiasm and excitement in his voice.
once everyone was buckled, jeonghan put the car on drive and calmly drove the vehicle on a twenty-five minute drive to a large, towering building with the words "yoon's" plastered on the front.
it was at least 20 stories high and was a white building with multiple windows that could give you a perfect view of seoul. the photographer stared with awe, his nose pressed against the car window.
while joshua had seen it many times and wasn't as impressed, he reminisced about his first times coming to the building and the similar reaction he had as seungcheol.
"wait till you see the place you're going to be working at" joshua told the childish male, "you'll be even more impressed"
at that moment, the black haired male couldn't have been any happier. he was only steps away from beginning the paying job of his dreams. from the second the car was put into park, seungcheol jumped out of the car, his camera around his next, and a bright smile as he jumped up and down on the pavement.
"hurry up slowpokes! i wanna go inside!"
