months had passed since the three became lovers, and they had all been extremely busy. due to exam season, there was no time for hanging out or their small little movie dates. hours of their days and nights were put into their studies, making the partners drift slowly in their relationship.

none of them had noticed the lack in talking, messages, or hangouts, they were occupied. instead, they reminisced the comfort of each other while staring at the empty couch none of them sat on. while the two roommates were in their separate rooms studying, cheol was in his own apartment stressing over his huge tests he would soon take.

studying was always a hassle, the male being easily distracted, he couldn't concentrate in his own home. stuck within the four walls, the photographer hadn't taken a photo in a very long time. he ran his fingers over the shutter before deciding he'd go look for something to shoot, feeling suffocated by the room.

the photographer grabbed his keys and put the camera around his neck before heading outside. breathing in the fresh air, he let the sun shine on his face for a few seconds, taking in the perfect day with blue cloudy skies. until finally, he made his way to the park he went to when he first moved in.

clouds were scattered across the sky, large and fluffy  perfect for photos. so he began to walk around, over that small bridge and near the meadow he had taken shots of months back. searching for that one place to take a shot, he went further in the park to an area that seemed more like a forest.

from the previous that flora that stood alone, there were bunches all together. mossy and creating a huge shadow from the sunlight and hot weather. he wasn't sure if he'd find, but the boy was determined to get one good shot.

so he trekked through the dirt path, towering plants on both of his sides as he walked. no reason in particular, the photographer chose to look up, staring at the trees' canopies and the different patterns it creates as light hit the leaves and branches. through an opening, a ray of sunshine lit up the dark floor, it was truly a shocking sight to see.

for a good angle, seungcheol laid down on his back and held the camera up at the scene. a soft click from the shutter ringed throughout the miniature forest. checking through the screen how it came out, he midly gasped at the golden ray of light that was captured to perfection.

satisfied with his work, he began so hike back and slowly feel at a loss. though he captured such a wonderful photos, the boy could only wonder when he'd be able to hang out with his partners. the loss of them beside him was starting to fall over him like a wave, slowly crashing over him till he felt sunken.

in his imagination, he could picture running into them like in any cliche movie, but it didn't happen, no one was around him. it all seemed so empty, suddenly everything began to hit him, the lack of people and students in general. everyone was doing something productive, so why couldn't he? was it his lack of focus that brought him to this place?

yes it was, and what he thought would he better for him made everything worse. all he wanted now was to be in the arms of his two lovers and forget all these strange thoughts. the boy felt a sudden exhaustion, maybe it would be best to study last minute and let himself relax. seungcheol felt so fidgety, yet he couldn't just disturb the roommates.

instead, he walked back to his apartment. coming to a conclusion that he'd feel much better if he made himself food before going to sleep. so as he clutched his beloved camera, the boy rode the elevator up to his floor. going straight to his homey yet empty home, he noticed his empty hall and slumped. was he hoping for too much by expecting the boys would give him something.

opening the door with his flashy keys, the black haired male pushed the door open and noticed his room light still on. staring at the illuminating door crack, the photographer felt  confused. he was so sure he shut it off when he left the apartment earlier that day.

slowly twisting the knob of the door, the boy recognized two very familiar faces on his bed and soon had the biggest smile plastered on his face. "hannie, shua, you came? aren't you both busy?" he asked quietly, making his way over to them and ket himself be engulfed in a tight hug from the two boys.

"we missed you, a bit too much" joshua said with a laugh and played with the soft, black locks of the photographer, "judging by your camera, i assume you took something?"

while turning on his device to show them the photo, he felt their eyes drift and glance over at the photos on his wall. all his shots and of course, the one of the three. the blonde one immediately stared at it and admired their happy faces, knowning that this was just as special to him as it was to them.

"here's what i took!" the photographer said excitedly, letting the boys lean on him to get a better view of the photo. they both looked in awe of the magical shot, normal photos other photographers take never felt that shocking, but with seungcheol, he put so much time and effort that the end result is always majestic.

when the black haired male decided to put it away, he looked at the boys with his large doe eyes, "can we get food? i'm hungry" he said with a whine.

the three decided to sit and look online for different menus, all unsure what they were craving for. and being the indecisive people they were, the three chose to pick three menus without looking, whichever they got would be what they'd order. after all, it's better to have a variety rather than one.

while waiting for the food to arrive, the two roommates took the time to explore the small apartment, having been in there less since the boy alwayd went over to theirs. his home was very, seungcheol in a way, with plants and photos as the main decor and light wood furniture. it all realy suit the boy's tastes.

the food soon arrived after 20 minutes of just waiting. when jeonghan had come back with the bags, the aroma filled the air, it smelled seemingly sweet and perfect for an early dinner time of meal. who said that dessert had to be the last part of a meal anyways?

though it had been a while, the three chatted and had conversations sbout their stressful schedules, none really having a proper break until now. since their last exam would fall next week, the three decided to have a date. after all, falling out of a relationship due to school was not something any of them wanted.

and maybe they all were worried since they haven't been on a proper date in a while, they were all eager to pick something they were sure would be fun for all three.
