the luminous moon lit up the dark sky around the time the photographer woke up. he was woken by a loud knock and mumbling voices outside of his apartment door. still in his long white t-shirt and shorts, the male ruffled his hair while walking up to the entrance of his home.

opening the door, he saw the two roommates and rubbed his eyes. "it's literally three in the morning. hannie, shua, are we going now?" he whined.

upon seeing the two males nod, the black haired male let out a whine and went into his home to find a random hoodie and sweats to put on. after finding a comfortable outfit, he grabbed his camera and bag before heading out the door to meet the boys when he's in a more awakened state.

"are you ready to go now, cheol?" joshua said while fixing the male's black curls.

the blonde grabbed seungcheol's small bag and giggled at the tired male leaning on his roommate's body. the two gave him as much information as they could remember the other day, but the one thing they hadn't brought up was the time they would depart.

holding the slightly taller male's hands, the duo led him over to jeonghan's shiny, white car. it's luminescence color glowed with the night light bouncing off of the metal material. opening the backseat, joshua put the pillow he brought for the ride and gave it to the tired photographer.

they helped him into the seat and smiled at the whiny yet cute behavior of the male. "hey cheol, the drive is three hours so get some sleep in the meantime, okay?" jeonghan told him, running his fingers though the silky hair of seungcheol.

laying his head on the pillow, seungcheol shut the door of the car and put the fluffy material on the window frame. the position was very uncomfortable, but he titled his head slightly up to prevent his next from going stiff. the male was unaware of his bottom lip sticking out as he tried to get comfortable.

jeonghan looked through the car mirror to notice the photographer's facial expression and tapped hid roommate's shoulder. he pointed to the backseat and the brown haired male pulled out his phone to snap a picture of the sleepy male.

the blonde began to start to car while joshua set the photo as his lock screen, of course the home screen reserved for a photo he took with the other two recently. during school hours, they met up and the male suggested a photo to put as his home screen. of course, none of them denied him and gave him a picture good enough to keep.

the two in the front began to have a small, quiet conversation while jeonghan drove to their destination. did they have an actual plan? not at all, but they had a spot in mind, a little cliche, but the two found a spot that they couldn't wait to show seungcheol. an area that was mind blowing, especially at sunrise.

hours had gone by when the white vehicle finally pulled up into an empty parking lot. with the moon vanishing, it was slowly becoming replaced with the sun. the star was barely coming up, giving the two boys a comforting smile just knowning everything was going as planned.

the photographer was finally awake, tilting his head and seeming a bit lost as he glanced around the area they stopped at. "is this a beach? there's like a mountain so i'm a bit-"

"you're asking too many questions, cheol" jeonghan smiled and turned off the car to step out and open the previously sleeping boy's door, "just follow shua and i, you'll see why we brought you here"

the gentle and surprisingly quieter male, led the blonde and seungcheol up the small hill next to the beach. it was covered with dark colored trees and rocks almost like pinnacles across. they followed the small trail lightly shoveled out and with dirt, leading them straight to the cliff that overlooked the water.

five minutes, that was the amount of time it took to get right to the edge. breathless, from not just the steep incline, but the view of the sky breaking into warm colors, pushing the dark night past and letting in daylight. the photographer could only stare at the scene before fumbling with his camera and pressing the shutter to take a photo of the majestic view presented in front of him.

the duo exchanged glances, small smiles on their face as the black haired male turned around to see the boys staring at each other. the photographer pulled them down and turned their heads with his cold hands, "i didn't know the view was you two" he huffed.

joshua was the first to break the small pause of silence by letting out a loud laugh, "we're just admiring your excitement in silence. it's always nice seeing you happy when you're taking photos" he said sincerely, holding seungcheol's hand in his.

the photographer soon became flustered, his words becoming jumbled as he tried to form a response. as a way of hiding, seungcheol turned over to the angelic blonde, burying himself in the male's shoulder. pressing his nose onto the soft fabric of the other's shirt, the black haired male shut his eyes tightly in hopes of evading embarrassment.

jeonghan ran his fingers, once again, though the boy's hair. this had become a small tactic he used when the male needed to calm down. after a mintue of playing with his soft black curls, he watched as the boy moved his head to watch the scene in front of them.

the sun finally won it's battle, the darkness had been pushed back for another 12 or so hours, and light filled the whole area. small clouds of fog still lingered in small groups, but everything looked a lot clearer. seungcheol had finally gotten a view at the place they were at, a beach city. of course, there were huge mountains just behind this sandy area, but his interests lied in what the place had to offer.

"are you ready to check out the rest of the place?" joshua asked, his hand still enlaced with the other male's.

seungcheol stared up at the boy from his laying position on the blonde's shoulder, his large, pretty eyes looking at him with hope. "are you serious? you mean we're going to go around?" he said quietly, grasping the brown haired male's hand tightly.

"let's just drive and whatever we think looks enjoyable, we can stop and check it out!" jeonghan chimed in.

the photographer nodded at the response, bouncing up to his feet and pulling the other two with him. "let's check out the town then" he shouted excitedly, letting go of the boy's hands and grabbing his camera so he could run down the hill without dropping the object he cared so much about.

they watched as the enthusiastic male sped down the steep incline, his hair bouncing with every step. it was an adorable sight, but since the roommates weren't runners, they chose to walk down. more like sped walk to make sure seungcheol didn't get hurt or tripped, but they took their time in getting back down.

their adventure to see the sunrise was just the beginning of what they had planned. after all, the two planned something big to make sure none of the day goes to waste.
