Soul Mark (breddy fanfic)

Inspiration

The Math Tutoring was over before Eddy knows it.  He collected his book and stationery from the desk and put it inside his bag,  preparing himself to go home. 

Eddy was ecstatic when he knew that there's a fellow violinist in this math tutoring.  He couldn't contain his excitement when he saw his friend music, and somewhat feels giddy afterward, as if he had too much sugar for breakfast.

"hey,  class is over.  wanna hang out? i want to look at your music"  Eddy happily rant.

before the kid could answer,  a loud asian lady appears outside the door,  signaling for the other kid to go home.
The kid with glasses groan in a little embarassment then proceed to follow his mom. 

"i'd love that,  but my mom's here,  so..  gotta go now. I hate my life,  but see you next time,  byee! " The kid with glasses bid his farewell in a hurry before Eddy could say anything.

Eddy stared at the other kid's direction for some while before he grabbed his backpack and left to go home.  Seems like the math tutoring wasn't so bad after all, Eddy like his new friend a lot. He made a mental note to bring his music with him next week.  Maybe they can practice together sometimes?  or even better,  play a duet and busking and other nerdy stuffs together? 

Eddy was ecstatic. He couldn't wait for the next math tutoring, he thought giddily while pedaling his bicycle to home.

Eddy was almost home when he noticed a white yaris with a treble cleff sticker on it's windshield parked in front of his house.  His sister is home!

His sister Belle, is 5 years older than him, she was 18 and just started to study at the conservatorium this year.  It was Friday, his sister usually spent time at home for the weekend, but the busy start of the semester forced his sister to stay at the dorm for the last several weeks.  He missed his sister terribly.

Eddy waas entering the house when a soft melody heard from inside of their piano room.

So Belle's practicing huh, what a role model.

Eddy snuck into the piano room quietly,  wanting to surprise his sister,

only to failed because the door creaks loudly betrayed him.

Belle jumps a little at the sound and noticed his little brother right away.

"Eddy!!!" Belle squeal happily while pinching his little brothers cheeks, "i missed you so much! you've grown a lot while i was away mhhmmhhm???? " Belle cooed at Eddy. Sometimes his sis forgot that Eddy wasn't a toddler anymore.

"Stop it Belleeee~ you've only been away for like,  a month or something, nothing changed that much in a month." Said Eddy between giggles, secretly loved to be babied by his sis.

Belle laughed gently to that. "oh, but something does changed in a month Eddy! you won't believe who i met at the con"

"who?"

"my soulmate."

"the fuck-"

"Ey!  Language bro!  and you dare to kiss our mum with that mouth of yours!" Belle feigned annoyance before succumbed into a heartful laughter again.

Eddy hesitated for a second before he opened his mouth again.  "well... you've met them anyway. So what's this person like?"

"hmm.  He's my professor from uni.  His name is Paul, he's only 5 years older than me" Belle stop and took a deep breath "He plays piano like God" said Belle with a dreamy eye.

Eddy pouted a little "Is that why you're not home for the last month?? Now that you've find soulmate you'll never have the time to play with me anymore." Said Eddy in a childlike manner.  Belle found his little brother's attitude cute and proceed to ruffled his hair.

"Aww! Paul's nice and all,  but i'd always spare some time to play with my cute little brother, you know?"

Eddy giggled a little with Belle, before comfortable silence filled in their casual banter. 

Eddy was the one who decided to speak up first. "uh.. how do you feel towards him Belle?"

Belle took a sharp breath, contemplating the answer "to be honest, i don't know"

"on one hand i feel attracted to him, that's a given"

"but,  we're good just being friend for now,  with him being my teacher and all this shit, so.. i don't think that i'll limit my choice of partner just because i found my soulmate." Belle said proudly.

They nod their head at eachother in a mutual understanding, their parents also taught them that,  with them being not soulmate and all.

"I'm kinda sad,  but proud, with you finding your soulmate like that" Said Eddy.

Belle smiled gently at him "you'll find yours too,  just you see"

"meh i'm not interested,  nor curious for the matter" Eddy shrugged off his sister's statement, only to lit up his face a few seconds later, "but i met this kid,  he was at math tutoring with me, he plays violin too! " Eddy rant excitedly about the kid he met earlier that day.

"aw,  now i'm curious,  tell me more about it"

"so he's an asian too,  i bet he speak mandarin, but anyway,  he plays violin too!  and his name is... "

uh..

They never really introduced themself before.
