This is what she wears.

I smiled as I placed my bag on my shoulder as I went to the bathroom and stood in the mirror and posed giving the peace sign and took a picture. I smiled and added special affects to the picture as I looked at myself. Hm...am I, gaining weight? Oh, no, I just have a big ass...I admired my appearance for a minute as I heard Phillip moving around as I went up to him as he turned around said, " Hey baby. How'd you sleep?" I kissed his cheek said, " I slept good. How about you? " He said, " I slept well." I noticed the black grand piano in the corner as he saw me looking as I asked, "Can you play?" Phillip said, " No," I said, "Pleeaassseee? " Phillip said, " Nope!" I gave him puppy eyes as he sighed said," Ugh, how can I say no to a cute face like yours? Fine," I smiled said, " Yay!" He said, " Oh, I like your outfit." I smiled as he disappeared behind the piano as I leaned against it and heard the piano backing from We Won't Move by Arlissa. I smiled sadly and began to sing. He stared at me as he smiled as I hit the high notes with beauty and grace as I remember the day of my graduation party... When we finished, we had Study Hall since we took all the morning classes so we had the whole rest of the day to relax and stuff. I met a new friend named Skylar as we met on the dance team. I held Phillips hands as a few people looked as I saw Angie and Zuri and Jamal come up said, " Sup guys!" We all fist bumped as I said, " Hello!" We all walked to Study Hall together as Angie said, "I'm still not used to this....I keep getting lost." Zuri said, "Don't worry, I'll help ya." Angie said, "Thanks!"

We all sat at a group table as I studied Chopin and began taking notes for Mr Jones class and I had to write an essay about him and put together a poster with a graph of important parts in his life. Phillip whispered, "You need some help baby girl?" I said, " Nope, I'm good. Thanks for asking." He smiled as I booped his nose as he smiled as he disappeared behind a book as I ruffled his hair, I turned back to complete my essay thinking about what I thought about on my graduation day... Man, I can't just sit back doin nothin and seein my people getting killed and just keeping quiet isn't right or good. I gotta save out future, like I got shot too. I remember the song Don't Shoot. The song literally explains everything about the protesting, and everything. Just speaking put is right but looting is just not. That's not how it's suppose' to work. I sighed. I gotta use my talent and not them silent me, and actions speak louder than words.... I thought more about this as I wrote and researched....

Later...

"Hey Theo- what are you doing?" Phillip ran into my room as he said, " Whatcha doin baby girl?" I had a poster board set up as a bunch of markers on the floor as I looked up at him said, " Making a poster." Phillip asked, "For what?" I said, "Protesting. I'm joining in. Tomorrow. Maybe." Phillip widened his eyes said, "But that's dangerous. " I said, "Is gotta stand up. That's what Harriet Tubman did, as for everyone else. I can't just sit back and watch my people die. We weren't put on this earth to get murdered. So, yeah. Wanna come with me? You are mixed." Phillip scratched the back of his neck as he said, "I just..." I said, "We gotta stick together, that's what you promised. You think I forgot 'bout this ring you gave me?" Phillip squatted down next to me said, " I just don't want you to get hurt. " I said, " Well, you'll protect me." Phillip asked, "Why ya going?" I said, " I'm sick of it! Police just have to stop! Do ya know what happened to my dad?" Phillip shook his head, I said, " He got pulled over and almost went to jail cause he forgot to show th officer his license. The officer slammed him to his car and nearly killed him. I ain't having it. Not anymore, there's no point....what else am I supposed to do? I just...." I felt hot tears toll down. Phillip said, " It's okay..." I stood said, "No its not, we need justice! I'm protesting cause I can't juts stay shut up, I gotta stand up, I can't do that. I gotta do something. Marching and stuff isn't fucking doing anything! I'm done. They done enough. I can't with this no more. So I'm going." Phillip said, " Me too." I asked, "What are we going to do?" Phillip said, " Stand up." I said, " Just like Them." Phillip smiled as he disappeared to his room as I checked my watch. 5:30. The protesting might begin again in a few hours or so...I gotta hurry up. What's he doin? Phillip came out as he gave me his jacket as I said, "Is already got one babe." He nodded as I pulled on my jean jacket and on the back in white writing said: Speak Up, Don't Let Them Silent You. I sighed as I finished up my poster as Phillip pulled on his shoes. I never been to a protest...but what else am I supposed to do?

I gotta do this. I shivered as I saw Dad since I was with him when the officer did that. I sighed. This is for you Dad. We need Justice.
