What Time Is It? ShowTime!

We arrived at the Concert Hall as Mom started speaking German to some lady. I sighed as I went to the pianos as I saw a guy sitting at one playing some some that was really good. I said," Hi!" He turned while still playing said," Hello!" I asked, " What song is that?" He said, " Oh, well, it's called Eine Klein Natchmusik by Mozart. This is what I'm playing tonight, what about you?" I sat at another piano next to his said, " It's called Nuvole Bianche. By Ludovico Einaudi." He said, "Hm. Play it." I said, " Okay." I stretched out my fingers as I began to play. I'm definitely going to be alone for a while. I sure hope my darling Theodosia is alright, we haven't done a long distance relationship before anyway, I seriously regret that I told her last minute. I seriously should've took her with me, wait. No, we have to live our lives! Even if we're seperated, we'll always find a way to eachother. I love her a lot but that doesn't mean I have to stay with her and follow her everywhere! She's a grown woman and she can take care of herself. But...I'm just afraid someone will try to hurt her... She's strong. She'll be okay. I'll text her everyday like she said. I continued to play as I heard sniffling, I turned as Mom was sniffling. I finally finished as the guy said, " " Wow. Your like...really good. what's your name man?" I said, " I'm Phillip Hamilton. You are?" He said, " I'm Peter Swann...." I said, " Cool." He asked, " Wanna be friends?" I said, " Sure!" We began talking about music, relationships, different musical genres, art, and all sorts of other stuff. He said, " Who's your girlfriend?" I said, " Her names Theodosia. She played piano and harp. She can at least read piano and harp music. She also can sing, and she...is just amazing." He said, " Oh. I mean....I'm not really attracted to girls..." I said, "Ohh, that's cool." He said," Oh. Okay." We were quiet as I looked down at my hands as I sighed. I asked, " You married yet?" He said, " Not yet. I'm engaged, but not married. You?" I said, " I didn't propose yet, but I got her father's blessing. " He said, " Ahh, that's cool." Me and James finally traded numbers as I sighed and began to play more pieces as I rolled back around too my concert piece. "Phillip! " I turned as Mom said, " Are you hungry? " I said, " Actually..." I heard my stomach growl as I said, " Yeah." Mom said, "  Good. We'll come back." I nodded but grabbed my sheet music anyway. I didn't want anyone to steal it. I already had my phone on me as me and Mom walked out together. I already said bye to Peter and told him I'll come back. Me and Mom walked inside some German food place. I sure hoped they had pasta. I don't really know what German people eat. We sat down as we just got coffee. Well she did, I got a hot chocolate and coffee cake muffin.

Mom asked, " So, you ready?" I said, " Yes. You'll be proud." She smiled said, " I'm always proud of you Phillip. I've heard you play. And honestly, you should choose a different piece." I asked, " Like what?" She said, " Like...Adagio in G Minor. Or...Clair De Lune. That song is barely even heard." I said, " But...I've been practicing for a while Mom!" She said, " Well, I want you to play a song that fits the competition. I want people to recognize it." I asked, "How about Swan Lake?" She widened her eyes said, "Well, of course!" I said, " Good. Cause I got it memorized. I brought more sheet music so yeah. I brought my book full of sheet music too. Just to be prepared. I know that you take this seriously Mom. I've done this my whole life." She smiled patting my hand said, " I know...How's Theodosia? " I said, "She's good. She's waiting for me to go on tv. " She laughed said, " Well, she sure is excited! " I said, "Yeah, she is. She still doesn't knwo she'll see me next month when I'm in Paris..." Mom asked, " Is that when you'll...propose?" I said, " Yeah. I've been thinking about marrying her for like...ever! I brought the ring with me too." Mom said, " Good." We were quiet as Mom said, " Well, I sure hope you'll surprise me. With something that'll blow them all away." I smiled said, " Right. I sure will blow them away. " She smiled and kissed my head. I looked down at my phone and sighed texting Theodosia again.
