So, this is NOT the sneak peek I mentioned before, but I did want to list a few ways things will be different in the sequel, and I hope I stick to these and create a better story for you all with this rewrite.
Let me know your thoughts on these things, and I appreciate and will listen to any recommendations/suggestions you guys have.
Here you go:
- Niall's character will be less forceful, meaning that he won't beg Harry to kiss him or show him romantic affection. Instead, he'll still have feelings for him but they will (hopefully) be translated into being for defensive and protective of Harry and his well-being.
- Louis and Harry's first interaction won't happen right away. Louis will be more of a mysterious figure at first, and even after they meet face to face. Louis will be intimidating but far more reserved and oddly distant from the situation as a whole.
- More small Ziam moments will be sprinkled in throughout the story so that them getting together isn't something that just happens suddenly. I want it to make more sense and be more coherent than that.
- Harry's disdain for his luxurious life will be more obvious earlier on, and more descriptions will be added of his house and life in general to truly display his wealth and fortune.
- Waaaaaaay less smut. Sorry for those of you who want that included, but it doesn't feel right to have that. Maybe not even any Larry smut in this book, but we'll see, of course.
- Not everyone will have a huge crush on Harry! Each characters' feelings will be shown throughout the story.
- Louis' past will be a bit different. Things will be explained better, and he won't exactly be full of so much hatred and anger and prone to rages. His personality will be different, i.e. he won't be as explosive as before, though he will still get loud and authoritative at times. His humanity and care for others will get shown throughout.
- Way more press coverage over Harry's disappearance littered throughout the story and interviews from his parents. They are one of the richest families, after all, and their status is basically on the same level as celebrities. They will definitely use money and connections in any way possible this time around.
- Harry will be more cautious of everything in the beginning
- Ending may be different
- THERE WILL STILL BE A SEQUEL (REWRITTEN AS WELL)
These are just a few points in which the story will be different, but there will be different things throughout that I hope you guys are okay with.
