HER BREATH HITCHED in her throat as their eyes remained locked on each other's, neither of them moving as they were both completely lost and confused on what to do next. It seemed as if the whole world was on play and it was just them stuck on pause, both too engulfed in the scene before them to press resume. The two of them consumed in enchantment, each under a spell they both seemed to posses and put the other under the power of.

And that was when it hit her. The door behind Jacob opened as a short woman walked through, the breeze pushing through the gap of the doorway and blowing right through him, and the smell hit her like a truck.

His scent was stronger than Bella's. Much much stronger. She wished she had moved when she had the chance, because now she knew she would not be able to get it out of her head. It would be stuck in her brain on replay every second of everyday until she came in contact with it again, and she knew it. Forget Bella, her blood was nothing compared to that of Jacob's. And that was clear to be nothing but a problem to be.

Her hand shot up to her face, quickly covering her nostrils as a gasp muffled through her hand.

Jacob, out of instinct, shot around, looking for any sight of whatever could have caused her sudden reaction. Upon finding nothing of the sorts, he turned back to the brown skinned girl, eyebrows fringing together in confusion, wondering what had triggered her to react in such a way. "What's wrong?" he asked stepping closer to Sadie, only for her to stumble back.

When a vampire finds his or her blood singer, it's an overwhelmingly sweet smell, her father's voice ran through her head as she remembered his words from the previous week of when she had asked about being sure one has found their blood singer.

It appeals to you in an extreme sense. Every human's blood smells good to a vampire, but the smell of their blood singer will stand out amongst a crowd. A town. A city. You feel the urge to just get a taste. You feel like if you don't, you'll lose it and die... again.
