The boat was slowly floating into the harbour, ready to dock while you continued to look around in excitement.
Leon stood behind you, gazing at you as you looked around and leaned onto the rails in excitement. A small blush spread on his face as he looked at you, the way your eyes sparkled, the way your hair moved beneath your white hat... and the way your skirt slid up a just tiny bit as you leaned on the railing wasn't helping him either.
He took a deep breath to settle down a bit before walking up to you and tapping you on your shoulder.
You turned around to him with your eyebrows raised and Leon nearly felt his cheeks heat up again. Why did you have this effect on him? He knew you for all of half an hour! Quickly, shaking his head to get rid of his thoughts, he turned his focus back to you, where you still stood with that adorable confused expression.
"I was wondering if I could have your number?" Leon started before quickly adding to it. "Uh, since I am going to show you around and all. Since, if we lose each other, or if we split up for a certain amount of time, or-"
"I get it." You chuckled at the rambling man before taking out your phone.
Leon sheepishly smiled at you before looking at your phone. "Oh, you don't have a Rotom Phone?"
You looked up from your phone before making an 'O' face as you saw the Rotom phone in his hand. "No I don't. Most of the things I need are on my Pokétch or Pokédex. The only thing really missing from this is the ability to call and text." You laughed a bit and held up your wrist to show the Pokétch on it.
Leon took a hold of your arm and held it up to his face, viewing the Pokétch curiously before realising what he was doing and quickly releasing your wrist. "Sorry." He apologised and you scratched the back of your head, assuring him it was fine.
"Isn't that inconvenient though? Having three different devices?" He suddenly said and you stopped mid-scratch.
"Very much so." You laughed. "Guess that is why they invented the Rotom phone!"
Leon laughed with you for a second before the two of you quickly exchanged numbers. Putting your phone back in the hidden pocket of your skirt, - where your Pokédex was as well - you turned your attention to the docks as people started to get off the boat.

Leon and you walked off of the boat and onto the docks of Hulbury. At least, that is what Leon told you this town was called. Why he had decided to stick around and show you the town was a mystery to you but you appreciated it nonetheless. I mean, who wouldn't?
"The gym here is run by Nessa. She specialises in water type Pokémon and is the second gym that challengers take on." Leon explained as he walked you through the city. Pretty soon the two of you stopped in front of the stadium.
You gawked at the large structure. It looked nothing like the gyms back in Sinnoh!
Your staring was suddenly interrupted however, when someone rudely shoved into you. You felt their arm push you aside and the sudden shove sent you tumbling to the ground.
"Be careful!" You heard Leon call out and felt a hand on your shoulder. You looked up to see Leon look at you a little concerned and you smiled to let him know you were fine. He helped you up and you dusted yourself off before looking up to see who so rudely shoved you aside.
When you did however, you nearly choked on air as a large crowd had suddenly gathered around you two. People were screaming Leon's name and the moment Leon let go of you and took a step back, you were swallowed up by the mass of people, being pushed around and shoved until you were spit out at the back.
