‼️‼️‼️PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE READING THE CHAPTER! THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

I HAVE CHANGED PREVIOUS CHAPTERS REGARDING RED! GO AND REREAD CHAPTERS: 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, AND 12!! HERE'S WHY:

As all of you know, in this particular book series, Red has Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as multiple personality disorder). When I wrote the previous chapters about Red and his disorder, I was very VERY uneducated, and I sincerely apologize for having writing said chapters without being educated on this disorder. However, I have been educated more and know way more things! Watched a tons of YouTube videos with people who actually have this disorder and read many trustworthy scientific articles. So, please, I encourage you to go back to those chapters and read Shelby's POVs from those chapters! He has changed completely!

THANK YOU FOR READING‼️‼️‼️

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

[Mitch's POV]

It's been a month since the doctors have informed me I was being transferred to another facility. I was still training in that time, confused by what the delay could've been.

Currently, I was laying down on my small mattress, staring up at the ceiling, the light in the room occassionally flickering. I was waiting for something to happen. For anything to happen. To get called for training, for them to bring me food or water.. to be transfered already.

To be transfered wouldn't be that bad, right? New person? Maybe not as psychotic as Mr. Mangle? Doubtful. I sighed softly and stretched a bit.

Training hadn't been the same since after the surgery. I would train to build up stamina and strength. Practice summoning weapons and fighting with them. However, after a while everything would freeze and everything would slow. I was there in my mind, but I couldn't control my body. I couldn't move. It was as if I was watching from afar behind a dark red and black screen. Everything was blurry, but I could still make out people and shapes. I watched myself summon weapons I wasn't concentrating to do. I couldn't think in that headspace to begin with. I was just.. stuck. In a blank space.

I shuddered softly as I heard the cell unlock and invade my thoughts. I quickly sat up and looked up at the two guards now. "Get up now, training." Said one of the guards. I sighed softly as I looked down at the cuffs around my wrists. The red light blinked as I stood up and walked out of the cell.

I walked down the lonely corridor, the light flickering above me, the guards behind and in front of me, hands on weapons. I walked and stared at the forever blinking red light on the cuffs.

Once to the training room one of the guards took out a key card and swiped it over the red light. It lit up green now and I was free to take the cuffs off. They took them and left me in the room alone. On the other side of the glass were the same doctors and scientists. Who wasn't there was Mr. Mangle. It's been a month since I've seen him and haven't seen him still.

Dr. Bailey was there though like always. She had been telling me what to train on since Mr. Mangle wasn't there. She wasn't nearly as strict as him, but was still pretty serious.

"So what's on the agenda today..?" I sighed and walked over towards the window, peering my face in the glass and looking at Dr. Bailey. Her cheerful voice came on the intercom.

"We are ant to see you practicing to summon other weapons." She said and grabbed a clipboard from a table and a pen from her pocket. "You've been able to draw any blade, bow, crossbow, and the arrows to go with it. We want to work on summoning new weapons. Ones you may not have thought of before. Technically, if you concentrate hard enough, you can
create anything to be a weapon. As long as you can think it and you concentrate hard enough, you can summon it. You have to picture it clearly, like you have been with your other weapons."
