Break the endless curse

Chapter V

The next few days went by more normally, the captain still didn't leave his room as often as usual but at least he didn't go out only to eat.

In the meantime Elizabeth and Hawk came back to the tavern.

Today the captain decided to open the tavern again after a long time.

Ban was in the kitchen with Elaine, King was solving problems, Hawk was eating scraps, the Princess and Diane were the waitresses and Meliodas did everything together except go into the kitchen.

Everything went by quite well, the captain smiled a lot and everything was satisfied.

They decided to close for the day and clean everything

Everyone got down to work until they were interrupted by the sound of a falling cup

Everyone looked at the trigger and found the blond boy just standing there, looking into another world.

The sins did not like this sight

Ban walked closer and put one hand on his shoulder.

But from one second to the next, his arm was crushed.

The captain was back here, he turned around and saw that he had crushed Ban's wrist

He looked shocked, he let go immediately

"I'm sorry Ban!" The demon apologized.

Steam rose from Ban's wrist until there was no more wound to be seen.

"It's okay, but what the hell was that?" Ban asked worriedly.

"Uh nothing, you just scared me" the captain put a smile on his face

"All right, everybody back to work!" he ordered

Everyone moaned until they went back to work

The leader looked briefly at his hands and saw them trembling, ignoring it he just clenched his hands into fists and shook his head until he went back to work

But he did not know that anyone had seen it, and it was none other than his best friend Ban.

After everyone had finished, they all decided to get ready for bed.

They said good night to each other and went into the rooms

The princess snuggled up to Meliodas

He just looked at her smiling slightly and closed his eyes.

After 2 hours everyone is already asleep, except for 2 certain people

Ban's busy thinking about what's wrong with Meliodas

And Meliodas?

He couldn't fall asleep for fear of nightmares. He decided to get up and go for a walk.

As he moved away from Elizabeth, she snuggled even closer to him.

The little blond boy just smiled at her and kissed her on the forehead.

"Don't worry I'll be back soon"

With these words he got up, grabbed Lostvayne and walked quietly down the stairs.

He stopped at the door to consider whether he should take alcohol with him.

He decided to take a bottle with him so he could numb his thoughts.

He went and reached for a bottle of alcohol, but when he looked at it he put it back

The captain went to a window and looked at the windowsill, Meliodas put aside the things that were currently on it

The bar owner opened it, and to everyone's surprise, there was a small cupboard inside with a few bottles with something in another language on it.

He grabbed one, put the things back the way it was and walked out the door.
