I got my keys out and opened the door.I walked inside and looked around.No one was in the living room.I decided to quietly look around and see if she was at home. If I remember correctly, she usually comes home late due to the amount of work she had but I still checked anyway.Of course she wasn't at home.I decided to get something from the kitchen and that was:a knife.Perfect.Now I have a something to defend myself with.You may be wondering why a knife is a perfect choice because I'm going against a serial killer.But I was going to make her surrender or if possible,make her faint.I don't want to hurt anyone nor do I want to become a murderer like her.Now I know I looked for evidence before in the basement but maybe she's hiding her murder stuff somewhere else.Somewhere like....the bathroom.That's right!The secret room behind the cupboard!It's possible she has her equipment hidden there since she does all of her experiments in there.I walked into the bathroom again and of course it's still the same.I got the cupboard and tried to move it somewhere else.After a minute of me trying hard not to break my arms, I finally moved it.

There it was...the secret door that leads to the her experiments.I reached my hand out to get the handle until...

"Well well well, what do we have here?" A familiar voice spoke.I turned around to only see Rose standing there.

"What do you think you are doing sweetie? Did you already forget that you aren't allowdd to go inside? That room is forbidden."

"Like hell I care!I promised myself that I won't ever go back to someone like you.I will end all of this and make sure you go to jail for good."

Mum started laughing like a proper psycho.

"You?Putting me in jail? Now that's funny.Don't think you can do anything without me.You need me!Only me!"

"No!All I need you to do is to stop all of this!I don't want anymore victims.I came here to avenge everyone and I will." I shouted.She started to get angry.Very angry.

"You brat!How dare you go against me?"She shouted back as she ran towards me.Out of nowhere she punched my stomach so hard and pushed me on to the floor.She got on top of me and grabbed my neck tightly making me unable to breathe.

"Die! You useless child! Die!I don't need you anymore!" She screamed as she grabbed my neck tighter.I tried to move her hands away from my neck but it was impossible.She was too strong.Nothing couldn't come out of my mouth.I felt nothing but pain in me.

Is this how I'm going to die? I was stupid to go against her.I should've known she was much more stronger.But I didn't want to die like this.Not like this.I tried to scream but it was no hope.

"Don't bother calling for help.No one is going to rescue you.Not even that little boyfriend of yours."She said as she kept grabbing my neck tighter and tighter.When she said 'boyfriend' I suddenly thought of Aiden.He wouldn't leave me like this right? No...what am I saying? He would never come.I left him to protect him.But..

"H-help..please..h-help me..Aiden.." I tried to speak but it was too hard for me.This is it..I'm going to die by the hands of a murderer.I started to cry as blood came out of my mouth.As I closed my eyes, Rose suddenly stopped grabbing my neck and loosened.I opened my eyes to see her eyes widened as blood came out of her mouth.She then fell sideways.
What just happened?

"Are you alright?" A voice spoke.I looked up with a suprised face.
