AVELINA FOLLOWED ANTON out of the room but not without sparing one last glance to Adrik who continued to busy himself with his piano. She couldn't stop herself from frowning just before her eyes traveled back to what was in front of her as she walked.

Anton walked her to the couch in the living room where he sat her down. She looked over at him patiently in wait as he sat down right beside her. The conversation seemed very serious, so she was quick to put on her game face.

"Speaking for Mr. Zolotov is really simple. Most of the people in the office know what to do in order to stay out of Mr. Zolotov's way. The only times he will need help speaking is for certain gatherings with large amounts of people and loud noises, but in private meetings, he practically speaks for himself. All you have to do when you talk for him is say the things that people want to hear in order to get the conversation to end as quickly as possible," he explained. Her brows knotted together in confusion as she processed his words.

"I know it may seem complicated, but once you start, you will be very fast to get the hang of it," he stated.

"I didn't realize I would be going to the office with him," Avelina said softly as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. He smiled gently at her before nodding his head in response.

"Yes, you start today. Mr. Zolotov's personal assistant, Zaria Kensley, will be there to help you every step of the way," he said. Avelina nodded her head slowly until she realized that he had said a woman's name. For some reason she couldn't help but wonder if Adrik was more communicative to all women in general, or if it was just Avelina that he was comfortable around.

"I don't think I have any business attire," Avelina told him as she glanced down at her clothing. She found herself biting down on her lip as her eyes returned to Anton.

"Zaria already made sure to pick out some clothes for you to wear," Anton told her. She nodded her head with a tight-lipped smile as she stood up from the couch.

"Wait, how does she know my size?" Avelina questioned.

"Your clothing had to go through our security just to make sure you weren't housing anything that could cause danger. It's possible she checked for your size during that time," he said with a small shrug. Avelina opened her mouth to say something, but decided to just let it go.

She didn't know that the security had checked through her clothes. It was bizarre how she didn't anticipate it seeing as she was staying with a very rich man who, as they said, had a lot of enemies.

"Where are the clothes?" she questioned, glancing around the room just to make sure it wasn't hiding in plain sight.

"It should now be in your closet. Be ready in one hour, you will be leaving with Mr. Zolotov," he said. She nodded her head and headed up the stairs where she entered her bedroom.
